"The point is the control from here. We have
never had that in the White House. And we have had some control
but not this control. I mean I'm amazed, I'm amazed at you people
who call for openness and transparency and have controlled..." veteran
White House reporter Helen Thomas said Wednesday.

reports that not even Nixon tried to control the press the way Obama
is trying to control the press.
"Nixon didn’t try to do that,"
Thomas said. "They couldn’t control (the media). They didn’t
try.
"What the hell do they think we are, puppets?" Thomas
said. "They’re supposed to stay out of our business. They
are our public servants. We pay them."
Thomas said she was
especially concerned about the arrangement between the Obama
Administration and a writer from the liberal Huffington Post Web site.
The writer was invited by the White House to Obama’s press conference
last week on the understanding that he would ask Obama a question about
Iran from among questions that had been sent to him by people in Iran.
"When you call the reporter the night before you know damn well what
they are going to ask to control you," Thomas said.
"I’m not
saying there has never been managed news before, but this is carried to
fare-thee-well--for the town halls, for the press conferences," she
said. "It’s blatant. They don’t give a damn if you know it
or not. They ought to be hanging their heads in shame."
The questioning of Obama by
reporters or citizens has to be managed. He's an absolute, uh, uh,
uh, uh, disaster, when left to respond to questions on his own
How
can Obama answer extemporaneous questions? He's still the same
never-done-nothin', no-experience poseur he was on January 19th -- and
he's been on television, or partying or jet-setting all over the world
to have learned anything since that date.

Obama Stands With Tyrants
The Washington Times
says dictators and demagogues can rest easy
on Obama's watch. When thousands of Iranians flooded the streets of
Tehran protesting a rigged election and were beaten and shot down by
pro-regime thugs, Obama bided his time before making a series of
noncommittal statements. He seemed to hope it would all just go away. However, when a socialist demagogue was ejected unceremoniously from
Honduras on Sunday by his own government for trying to establish a
presidency for life, Obama instantly sprang to his defense.
What
happened in Honduras was not a military coup. Honduras has a civilian
president, Roberto Micheletti, a member of the former president's own Liberal Party, who was elevated to the post after Zelaya
was removed. The army did not seize power, but acted as the elected
government's instrument in ousting Zelaya, who was well on his way to
subverting the Honduran constitution and erecting a dictatorship.
Obama lied when he described these events as a "military coup."
The crisis followed an intense week of political drama over a
planned referendum seeking to convene an assembly to rewrite the 1982
constitution to allow Zelaya to serve in office beyond the mandated
one-term limit, which would have ended in January 2010. The Honduran
National Congress opposed the referendum, and the Supreme Court declared
it illegal. The plan was denounced by majority and opposition political
parties, the Catholic Church and the Honduran Human Rights Commission.
The military impounded the illegal ballots, and Zelaya fired
military chief Gen. Romeo Vasquez for refusing to distribute them. This
prompted resignations from Defense Minister Edmundo Orellana and all the
service chiefs. The Supreme Court quickly ruled the firing was illegal. Meanwhile, Zelaya led a band of followers to air force headquarters and
seized the illegal ballots, seeking to hold the referendum regardless. The
Honduran Congress then acted to remove this renegade ruler and defend the
Honduran constitution.
In throwing its unqualified support to Mr.
Zelaya, the Obama administration is enabling America's strategic foes. This shortsightedness is truly breathtaking and underscores the
incoherence of the administration's foreign policy. Smart power? We
think not.
Now Zelaya has secured the backing of numerous Latin
American leaders, the United Nations and the United States. He had
planned to return to Tegucigalpa on Thursday, but the Organization of
American States has given Honduras three days to reinstate him. Honduran
Attorney General Luis Alberto Rubi has issued an arrest warrant for Mr.
Zelaya on 18 charges, including abuse of power and treason.
Whatever the outcome of the crisis in Honduras, Obama has failed another
key test of international leadership. The United States is in an
increasingly perilous position in Latin America and needs solid allies
to stem the anti-American tide being led by Venezuela. Obama should
think twice before rushing to stand beside the likes of dictators such
as Chavez and Fidel Castro. They support Zelaya because he is a fellow
traveler, a socialist in good standing, a member of their anti-gringo
alliance -- the same reason the socialist Obama supports him.

Obama And Communists See Eye-To-Eye

website comes the following statement on Honduras Crisis:
The
Communist Party USA (CPUSA) joins with the world in denouncing the coup
d’etat this morning against the legally elected president of the
Republic of Honduras, Manuel Zelaya, by the Honduran military, in which,
according to a statement by the president’s wife, Mr. Zelaya was
threatened and beaten before being sent into exile in Costa Rica.
• The CPUSA denounces alarming reports of physical attacks by troops
against the ambassadors of Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua in Tegucigalpa,
and calls for protection of all diplomatic personal; and, if the reports
of the attacks are confirmed, punishment of all the responsible parties
for this gross violation of Honduran and international law.
The
CPUSA further:
• Demands that president Zelaya and other members
of his government be returned to power immediately, and that the troops
return to their barracks.
• Demands the immediate release of all
labor, community and student leaders who have reportedly been rounded up
by the army, and the restoration of freedom of the press.
•
Recognizes that the Obama administration has repudiated the coup, and
insists that President Obama and Secretary of State Clinton hold firm to
this position, refusing diplomatic recognition and any military aid to
Honduras until President Zelaya is restored to power.
• Calls
upon unions and other people’s organizations in the United States to
actively support our brothers and sisters in Honduras in resisting this
brutal military coup d’etat.
The Communist Party is even using Obama's position to make their
case -- and, it's not a "military
coup" -- the Communists and Obama are both relying upon the same propaganda.
Most folks, that are paying attention, recognize Obama's push to
socialize the United States, but do you know what Lenin said about
socialism?
Lenin said, "The goal of socialism is communism."
I'm old now, and when I stood watch on "Freedom's Frontier," facing
the "Communist menace," I could never, ever, have dreamed I would live to see the day
when the Communist Party USA and the Oval Office saw eye-to-eye.

Obama's Biggest Character Flaw
Obama recently expressed his love
for "the Urdu poets," a piece of inspired BS that nobody in their right
minds believed for a second. But then Obama was narrowcasting to
Pakistan, he thought, and Americans weren't supposed to be listening. Yet character is revealed in those little snippets of Obama's mind --
his glorious fantasy life, his everlasting hope that somebody will fall
for another piece of schtick, and his essential fraudulence as a human
being.
Obama's biggest audience is himself, and no doubt he
preened and pranced in his mind's eye when he told the nation of
Pakistan about his deep love and understanding of Urdu. Love ya, baby!
All those sixty million Pakis were shouting, marveling at our polyglot
president. Waddaguy! At least in Obi's fantasy life, that is. Because
that Zeppelin-sized ego of his needs to be pumped up a little bit more
every single day.

Well, yes. For his next showboating performance Obama
will parade his beautiful ballooning ego in front of Vladimir Putin,
whose own hands are dripping with the blood of Chechen Muslims, not to
mention those brave (and now dead) Moscow journalists who dared to
criticize the new Czar in the media.
When it comes to czars
Vladimir Putin is almost the real thing, whipping and murdering the
peasants and the boyars -- not those phony styrofoam Red Commissars
Obama keeps in the White House, to lord it over Federal cabinet
departments. For the privilege of parading his beautiful ego in Moscow,
Obama has no doubt paid a steep price: Say, stopping US anti-missile
defense construction for Poland and the Czech Republic.
They've
got his number, all the political con artists around the world. For a
little balloon-pumping flattery Obama will sell out American national
security interests -- not to mention those of our allies. Obama's
"historic" Epistle to the Muslims, delivered last month at Cairo's Al Azhar University (an international center for Islamist propaganda) was
not really intended to make a billion Muslims fall down at his feet. No,
the main goal of all those grand gestures is to make Obama feel better
about himself. That's the key to his character.
Jim Geraghty says ever since
Barack Obama declared his candidacy for president, it’s been easy -- and
great fun -- to spotlight when his promises and statements come with
"expiration dates." The list is long: Public financing. Renegotiating
NAFTA. His promise to support a filibuster of any bill that includes
retroactive immunity for telecommunications companies. His inability to
disown Rev. Jeremiah Wright. The release of detainee photos. Denouncing
Turkey for genocide.
Flip-flops are nothing new in politics, but
every once in a while, a politician breaks a promise or an important
pledge on such an epic level that it defines him, at least in part:
"Read my lips: No new taxes." "I did not have sexual relations with that
woman." "We did not -- repeat -- did not trade weapons or anything else
for hostages -- nor will we." Even, "I will never lie to you."
Barack Obama’s sudden about-face on taxing employer-provided health
insurance deserves to rank among these classics. Not because it’s as
laughable as Bill Clinton’s, or as emphatic as George H. W. Bush’s, but
because it takes a certain moral venality to casually adopt a position
that was a dominant theme of your argument for why your opponent should
not be elected president.
Barack Obama’s 2008 campaign spent $44
million on 16 different television ads hammering John McCain on this
idea, according to research by Evan L. Tracey, founder and president of
Campaign Media Analysis Group, a TNS Media Intelligence company.
"This message was a central theme and a significant percentage of the
Obama campaign’s advertising in 2008," Tracey said. His organization
estimated last November that Obama’s campaign spent $250 million on
television advertising, meaning that about 17 percent of all of Obama’s
ads were denouncing McCain for this proposal.

eBay Founder Linked To Obama
Ebay founder Pierre Omidyar's
politics have become the
subject of blog commentary because the web
auction site over the last week repeatedly scrubbed an offering of an
allegedly genuine copy of Barack Obama's birth certificate -- from
Mombasa, Kenya.
But eBay said it wouldn't get involved in any
discussion of Omidyar's activities or political statements. Spokeswoman Evonne Gomez said, "We certainly wouldn't comment on our founder's
political concessions or beliefs. He is not involved in the day-to-day
operations of the company." She said if a question was submitted in
writing, she would consult on whether it would be answered. A question
submitted by WorldNetDaily didn't, however, produce a response.
"I will coordinate with colleagues on the corporate side," she said. "We
wouldn't comment on his political views or associations."
Omidyar, a billionaire, former CEO and current chairman of eBay, was appointed by Barack Obama to serve on the 28-member
President's Commission on White House Fellowships earlier this month.
According to
a White House press release from June 17, Omidyar joins Obama's sister
Maya, former Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle, General Wesley Clark,
former NBC anchor Tom Brokaw, and several others on the committee, which
recommends candidates to the president for selection as White House
Fellows. The release calls the White House Fellowship "America's most
prestigious program for leadership and public service, providing young
individuals with experience working at the highest levels of the federal
government."
Omidyar further serves as a trustee of the Punahou
School in Hawaii, the elite private high school that Obama and Maya
graduated from in 1979, and endorsed Obama's candidacy for president on
his blog in March 2008.
WND reported has reported that over the
last week eBay has scrubbed at least five auctions offered by a seller
known to the public only as "colmado_naranja."
The sale was for
a document that purportedly was a Kenyan birth certificate for Obama.
Colmado_naranja claimed, the auction pages were removed because
of an eBay policy prohibiting the sale of government documents, even
though several foreign birth certificates and even a driver's license --
albeit all from 1935 or older -- were discovered for sale on the auction
site.
An eBay help desk representative said the fifth auction
auction for "the dissertation" was removed because the company believed,
"a third party had accessed the [seller's] account."
The latest
offering from colmado_naranja is an auction for a photograph of several
people who reportedly helped in the hunt for the "birth certificate,"
and a promise that more information would be unveiled in a planned
YouTube video.
Obama's place of birth, however, remains only one
of several questions and possible avenues for answers that remain in
determining whether or not Obama is a "natural born citizen" under the
U.S. Constitution and eligible to serve as president.

Fear of Jihad Led US Voters To Obama
In a
public address
delivered on Al-Aqsa TV by Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal,
the Damascus-based terror boss informed Arab viewers that Barack Hussein
Obama came to power in the United States due to Islamic jihad in the
Middle East.
During the June 25th discourse, Mashaal said Obama's
administration, and its interest in achieving détente with the Arab
world, did not come about through American altruism. Rather, witnessing
the combative efforts of Palestinians, Lebanese, Iraqis and Afghanis led
Americans to vote for Obama in order to "protect their own interests."
Mashaal also praised
Obama for his warming toward Hamas, an organization listed by the U.S.
State Department as a terror organization. "We appreciate the new
language used by Obama with regard to Hamas," Mashaal said. "It is the
first step in the right direction, toward direct dialogue with no
preconditions. We welcome this. Any dealings with Hamas and with the
Palestinian resistance forces must be based on respect for the will of
the Palestinian people and its democratic choice."
Regardless of
the Arab-friendly political climate, Mashaal assured viewers that
violence will continue to be used to achieve Arab goals. "The peoples of
Europe exercised this right against the Nazis, the U.S.A. exercised this
right against British rule, and so did the peoples of Asia and Africa
that had been occupied," Mashaal said. "As for 'peaceful resistance,'
which people are trying to preach to us -- it is suitable for the
struggle for civil rights, but not for the liberation of a homeland."
Mashaal also used the opportunity to address Prime Minister Binyamin
Netanyahu's recently set criteria for formulating a Palestinian state. "First of all, we categorically reject the Israeli position, stated by
Netanyahu, with regard to the Palestinian rights," Mashaal said,
"especially pertaining to the issues of Jerusalem, the refugees' Right
of Return, the settlements, normalization of relations with the Arabs,
his views on a Palestinian state, its territory, and its borders, and
his condition about a demilitarized state."
He issued a warning
to all Arabs not to be "lenient" in accepting Israel as a Jewish State.
The "bare minimum" Hamas will accept, stated Mashaal, is full
sovereignty in all of pre-1967 Israel -- including Jerusalem -- the
destruction of all Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria, and the
admission of PA Arabs as citizens into the State of Israel.
Given
Mashaal's statements, there is absolutely no hope for a peaceful
solution to this problem -- and I love Mashaal's "direct dialogue with
no preconditions" -- as he lists a dozen of 'em.

Obama Increases Aid To Muslim States

reports that in the latest in a recent series of
increased American assistance efforts for Arab and Muslim states, Barack
Obama has allocated an additional $150 million to the Hashemite Kingdom
of Jordan. The regimes leading Egypt, the Palestinian Authority, the
United Arab Emirates and even Saudi Arabia have all benefited from
recent American policy shifts.
Jordan's Minister of Planning and
International Cooperation, Suhair Al-Ali, was quoted by The Jordan Times
as explaining that the kingdom receives $363 million annually from the
United States in economic assistance. The allocations signed into law by
Obama this week mean that Jordan will receive a total of $513 million
from the U.S. in 2009. The minister told the Jordanian newspaper that
the additional American aid was the result of ongoing efforts by
Jordan's King Abdullah II, as well as Obama's "recognition of the
important role Jordan plays in the region."
Egypt received $310
million in supplemental appropriations from the U.S. House of
Representatives, currently controlled by Obama's Democratic party. At
the same time, 2009 State Department funding for the promotion of
democratic initiatives in Egypt was cut from $50 million to $20 million. In addition, the U.S. has agreed not to give any of the pro-democracy
funds to organizations that are not approved by the Mubarak regime. In
the year 2007, Egypt received a total of $2.4 billion.
On
another front, in March of this year, it was reported that the Obama
administration planned to dramatically increase funding to the
Palestinian Authority for security training, which is conducted by
Jordanian police under the supervision of U.S. General Keith Dayton. The
U.S. allocated $75 million for the PA police training in 2008, but
reports indicated that the Obama administration was planning to pump up
to $130 million into the program in 2009. In any event, the U.S. has
already pledged $600 million in funds to the Palestinian Authority, with
another $300 million for humanitarian aid to the Hamas regime in Gaza.
Elsewhere in the region, the U.S. is set to help the United Arab
Emirates become the first Arab nation with a developed nuclear power
infrastructure. Obama gave his official support and
authorization for the $41 billion project, allowing private U.S.
companies to compete for construction contracts.
In Pakistan,
Obama proposed $2.8 billion in aid for that nation's
military, alongside civilian aid of $1.5 billion a year for the next
five years. The military aid is ostensibly to allow the Pakistanis to
more effectively fight jihadist and al-Qaeda terrorism emanating from
the Swat Valley and along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border.
The
Obama administration's assistance to Arab and Muslim states extends
beyond the monetary, however.
According to an article in Joseph
Farah's G2 Bulletin earlier this month, the American government has
petitioned the U.S. Supreme Court to preserve sovereign immunity for the
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and four Saudi princes in connection with a
civil case seeking compensation for victims of the massive September 11,
2001, al-Qaeda terrorist attacks on the American homeland. The claimants
in the case say that there is sufficient evidence of Saudi involvement
in 9/11 for the court to lift the normally applicable immunity.
Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister, Prince Saud al-Faisal, told
Newsweek magazine this month that the United States should cut off all
aid to Israel if the Jewish State does not accept the 2002
Saudi-sponsored Arab-Israeli terms of negotiation.

Obama's True Colors Shine in Honduras
Obama
squirmed and weaseled his words with the Iranian Mullahs and their
puppet-tyrant, Ahmadinejad, not wanting to be seen as meddling in a
tyrannical theocracy, known throughout the world as beneath-contempt
oppressors of every human right under the sun. No, no, no, it just
wouldn't do to publicly lend support to all those moderate,
freedom-loving throngs of Iranians taking to the streets, risking life
and limb for more liberty. Not until the Iranians killed demonstrators
on camera, the pictures went round the world, and criticism of himself
mounted at home, did Obama put his hands on his hips and use
the words, "appalled" and "outraged."
And the words that quickly
came to my own mind as Obama gave this tiny, petulant nod to liberty:
"Wimp in Chief."
This week, the Honduran socialist president,
seeking to eviscerate his country's constitution in a shameless
power-grab, has evoked Obama's true colors, and spread them out like
yellow underwear on a backyard clothesline.
Obama's response to
the Honduran military removing a dictator-wannabe from office (at the
behest, it must be noted, of the Supreme Court and the Honduran
Congress), and escorting him to the border, was sure and fast. He
declared the military action an "illegal coup" faster than you can say
Fidel Castro. And just as quickly the rest of the region's socialist
gang chimed in too. The real Castro brothers. Hugo Chavez. Daniel
Ortega.
Birds of a feather do tend to flock together.
Bullies, of all stripes, don't you know, are really just cowards at
heart -- yellow down to their measly cores -- which is why they must
cling together in gangs and collectives. They haven't the courage or
fortitude for independence. Neither do they support individual liberties
or constitutions that interfere with their quest for power.
Such
is the obvious case with the now-exiled Honduran ex-president, the man
Obama has backed quickly, forthrightly, and with sharp, meddling
to nes. It has come to light, too, that even before the Hondurans moved
to protect their still-fledgling democracy and young constitution, the
Obama Administration made behind-the-scenes, veiled threats in support
of the Chavez-aligned Zelaya.
Of course, as was to be expected,
the OAS has given its full backing to the now-exiled socialist. The OAS
has, for years now, been on a leftist tack and clearly do not want one
of their own kind stopped in his tracks. Especially not now, when
leaders -- even Obama -- have paved the way for Castro's
readmission and Chavez is on a tear in Venezuela.
For even more
evidence that the international socialist collective is still alive and
well, I turned to the Communist Party USA, to check out their response
to the Honduran situation. And, there it is in ignoble glory. The
Communist Party USA is in agreement with Obama and even has
some of the same demands of the Honduran people:
• Demands that
president Zelaya and other members of his government be returned to
power immediately, and that the troops return to their barracks.
• Recognizes that the Obama administration has repudiated the coup, and
insists that President Obama and Secretary of State Clinton hold firm to
this position, refusing diplomatic recognition and any military aid to
Honduras until President Zelaya is restored to power.
• Calls upon
unions and other people's organizations in the United States to actively
support our brothers and sisters in Honduras in resisting this brutal
military coup d'etat.
Obama
walked into the Oval Office with a veritable halo over his head.
In the eyes of his backers, he could say or do no wrong because he had
evidently descended directly from heaven to return celestial order to
our fallen world. Oprah declared his tongue to be "dipped in the
unvarnished truth." Newsweek editor Evan Thomas averred that Obama
"stands above the country and above the world as a sort of a God."
But when it comes to health care reform, with every passing day,
Obama seems less God and more demagogue, uttering not transcendental
truths, but bald-faced lies. Here are the top five lies that His
Awesomeness has told -- the first two for no reason other than to get
elected and the next three to sell socialized medicine to a wary nation.
• Lie
One: No one will be compelled to buy coverage.
• Lie Two: No new taxes on employer benefits.
• Lie Three:
Government can control rising health care costs better than the private
sector.
• Lie
Four: A public plan won't be a Trojan horse for a single-payer monopoly.
• Lie Five:
Patients don't have to fear rationing.
And it came to pass in
the Age of Insanity that the people of the land called America, having
lost their morals, their work initiative, and their will to defend their
liberties, chose as their Supreme Leader that person known as "The One".
He emerged from the vapors with a message that had no meaning; but
He hypnotized the people telling them, "I am sent to save you.
My
lack of experience, my questionable ethics, my monstrous ego, and my
association with evil doers are of no consequence.
For I shall
save you with Hope and Change. Go, therefore, and proclaim throughout
the land that he who preceded me is evil, that he has defiled the
nation, and that all he has built must be destroyed."
And the
people rejoiced, for even though they knew not what "The One" would do,
he had promised that he would bring change, and they proclaimed "Yes We
Can".
And "The One" said "We live in the greatest country in the
world. Help me change everything about it!"
And the people said,
"Hallelujah!! Change is good!"
Then He said, "We are going to tax
the rich fat-cats," -- And the people said "Sock it to them!" " -- and
"Redistribute their wealth."
And then He said, "Redistribution
of wealth is good for everybody"
A popular Tennessee Congresswoman, Marsha Blackburn (R), has become
the first woman and the first Tennessean to
add her name to the list of
co-sponsors for Representative Bill Posey’s (R-FL) proposed amendment
(HR-1503).
The bill amends the Federal Election Campaign Act of
1971, and would require candidates for President of the United States to
provide among other things, "…a copy of the candidate’s birth
certificate…."
The bill’s list of co-sponsors continues to grow
with Blackburn as its latest member. The seven Representatives already
supporting the bill are:

Obama
said on Monday the coup that ousted Honduran President Manuel Zelaya
was illegal and would set a "terrible precedent" of transition by
military force unless it was reversed.
"We believe that the coup
was not legal and that President Zelaya remains the president of
Honduras, the democratically elected president there," Obama told
reporters after an Oval Office meeting with Colombian President Alvaro
Uribe.
Zelaya, in office since 2006, was overthrown in a dawn
coup on Sunday after he angered the judiciary, Congress and the army by
seeking constitutional changes that would allow presidents to remain in
office beyond a four-year term.
The Honduran Congress named
an interim president, Roberto Micheletti, and the country's Supreme
Court said it had ordered the army to remove Zelaya.
"It would be
a terrible precedent if we start moving backwards into the era in which
we are seeing military coups as a means of political transition, rather
than democratic elections," Obama said.
The only precedent Obama is
concerned with is that he won't be able to pull the same stunt -- and
occupy the Oval Office indefinitely.
Already, Rep. José Serrano,
a New York Democrat
introduced a measure to repeal the 22nd Amendment,
which provides the only term limit on federal office -- the Presidency. The amendment, added in 1951, restricts anyone from seeking a third term
in office, and Serrano wants that repealed.

Barack Obama -- Enemy of Democracy
The more one sees Obama in
action the more you realize that the leader of the free world is not a
big fan of democracy.
Take a look at his foreign policy, with few
exceptions he has positioned the United States against the force of
democracy in the world. He has insulted out close allies in Great
Britain by dissing their Prime Minister when he came to visit; no state
dinner, no press conference and to top it all off Obama gave the Prime
Minister a crappy take-home gift, old DVDs. Then he insulted France when
he refused to have dinner with their president, even though he was a
guest in their country. While he was moving away from our democratic
allies, he has been moving closer to the repressive regimes within the
Muslim world, literally bowing down to the likes of Saudi Arabia. He has
even moved away from our number one ally in the Middle East, the
democracy Israel, in order to seduce a terrorist Palestinian regime.
The most glaring examples of Obama's distaste for Democracy can be
seen in two recent international crises, Iran and Honduras. Each time
Obama has taken the side of the oppressors against the forces of
democracy, each time, he has done it because he wants to create a
friendship with the oppressive regime.
Obama is vowing to sign climate change
legislation and overhauls in health care and financial regulations this
year and is dismissing his critics as naysayers.
Obama warned
more than 400 of the Democratic Party's top fundraisers Monday evening
that winning policy fights will become more difficult.
Obama ran
through a list of
successful administration initiatives, including a
$787 billion economic stimulus, a $10 trillion national debt, the
nationalization of the insurance, banking and automobile industries, and
the pay-back to ACORN and the unions.
The president told the
group, in his words, "It's not bad for six months."

Obama Suppresses His Own EPA Report
A top
Republican senator has ordered an
investigation into the Environmental
Protection Agency's alleged suppression of a report that questioned the
science behind global warming.
The 98-page report, co-authored
by EPA analyst Alan Carlin, pushed back on the prospect of regulating
gases like carbon dioxide as a way to reduce global warming. Carlin's
report argued that the information the EPA was using was out of date,
and that even as atmospheric carbon dioxide levels have increased,
global temperatures have declined.
"He came out with the truth. They don't want the truth at the EPA," Sen. James Inhofe, R-Okla, a
global warming skeptic, told FOX News, saying he's ordered an
investigation. "We're going to expose it."
The controversy comes
after the House of Representatives passed a landmark bill to regulate
greenhouse gas emissions, one that Inhofe said will be "dead on arrival"
in the Senate despite Obama's energy adviser voicing confidence in the
measure.

Obama Invites Homosexuals To Secret White
House Function
Obama has invited some gays and lesbian leaders to
a secret East Room reception on Monday to commemorate the 40th
anniversary of the Stonewall Rebellion, the 1969 Greenwich Village
demonstrations that gave birth to the modern gay rights movement.
The White House has not publicized the reception. But gay leaders
from here and around the country said they had received either telephone
calls from the White House or written invitations to the event, and were
told Obama is expected to speak.
Shin Inouye, a White House
spokesman, said: "Next Monday's event is a chance for the White House to
recognize the accomplishments of LGBT Americans. Invited guests include
families, volunteers and activists, and community leaders. This event
was long planned as a way to applaud these individuals during Pride
month."
One person who received the invitation said the White
House was billing the event as a celebration, akin to the festive
affairs the administration holds on St. Patrick's Day or Cinco de Mayo. Another said the invitation included an offer to bring a guest. "They
want people to understand that their partners are welcome," said this
person, speaking anonymously because the White House has not announced
the event.
"The
accomplishments of gay leaders" -- no doubt referring to Barney
Frank's single-handed destruction of the mortgage banking system.

Obama Bluffs On Defending Hawaii
The
Washington Times
reports that July 4 could be another day that will live
in infamy. Obama seized headlines June 18 when the Defense Department
stated that the United States would deploy ground- and sea-based
missile-defense assets to protect Hawaii. This was a response to North
Korea's threat to launch a long-range missile on July 4 toward the
islands. However, new information suggests that the administration is
bluffing and our defenses are inadequate to get the job done.
Missile-defense expert Taylor Dinerman told us that the sea-based SM-3
missiles now deployed to "protect" Hawaii are not equipped with adequate
software and communications to intercept a missile traveling from North
Korea to Hawaii, which would reach a terminal velocity of Mach 23 to 25. The SM-3s are effective only against targets traveling at up to half
that speed. It would take about $50 million to upgrade the software to
enable a Mach 25 intercept. The Army's Terminal High Altitude Area
Defense missile, which also has been activated after successful tests at
Barking Sands on Kauai, "doesn't come close" to being effective against
this type of threat, Mr. Dinerman said.
Obama is stuck in the
past on missile defense, repeating worn-out arguments about unproven
technologies and destabilizing effects. The Defense Department's 2010
budget proposal cut missile defense by $1.2 billion, and congressional
Democrats rebuffed Republican attempts to restore the funding. Justification for the cuts was led by Rep. Ellen O. Tauscher, California
Democrat, who is the newly confirmed undersecretary of state for arms
control and international security. Ms. Tauscher will play a major role
in missile-defense policy.
The cuts include scaling back the
number of interceptors based at Fort Greely, Alaska, from 44 to 30. This
cut is hard to justify given the proximity to North Korea and the fact
that these interceptors actually could bring down one of its missiles
(which may explain why Pyongyang is aiming for Hawaii). The Airborne
Laser program has been downgraded to a research-and-development effort
despite a recent successful test of its target-acquisition system. Taxpayers have invested about $5 billion to bring this advanced
technology to the point of fruition.
Obama also has cut funding
for the European missile-defense shield, leaving our allies in Poland
and the Czech Republic in the lurch after they took a major political
risk to support the program. A February Congressional Budget Office
study of the proposed European deployment concluded that "none of the
alternatives considered by CBO provide as much additional defense of the
United States." This retreat makes the United States appear weak before
Russian bluster, which doesn't put U.S. leaders on the best footing on
the eve of a July 7 Washington-Moscow summit.
Missile defense
should be central to the U.S. strategy to dissuade, deter and, if
necessary, defeat threats. Instead, we are unilaterally disarming, which
only strengthens the strategic logic for our adversaries to produce more
missiles. Current policies encourage countries like North Korea, Iran
and Syria to move ahead with advanced missile and
weapons-of-mass-destruction programs that promise more bang for the buck
than expensive conventional forces.
Obama's hostility to missile
defense is inexplicable. The missile threat is growing, and defensive
technology is increasingly effective, yet Obama has dug in stubbornly
behind a losing strategy that emboldens our enemies and places us in
greater danger. No wonder Hawaiians are nervous.

Obama's Ridiculous GITMO Policy

reports that, on Friday evening, they received this from the
administration:
Obama administration officials, fearing a battle with Congress that
could stall plans to close the U.S. prison at Guantanamo Bay, are
crafting language for an executive order that would reassert
presidential authority to incarcerate terrorism suspects indefinitely,
according to three senior government officials with knowledge of White
House deliberations.
Such an order would embrace claims by former
president George W. Bush that certain people can be detained without
trial for long periods under the laws of war. Obama advisers are
concerned that an order, which would bypass Congress, could place the
president on weaker footing before the courts and anger key supporters,
the officials said.
Now, try and put all of this into perspective. Obama signed an executive order in his second day on the job
committing to closing GITMO within a year. He did this because GITMO
was, in his view, a total rejection of our values and morals. Yet, now,
he's on the verge of, by executive fiat, holding some folks
indefinitely, without charge or trial. Now, how does that square with
his view that GITMO was an aberration to everything we believe.
Let's set some more context. Some folks that were in GITMO are now
enjoying the beaches of Bermuda. Soon, they will open up a restaurant. Other folks in GITMO will stay incarcerated indefinitely with no charge
or trial.
Whatever you think of Bush's policy, he, more often
than not, made decisions based on the safety and protection of the
citizenry. With Obama, there's really no underlying thread to his GITMO
policy. If this is all about due process and giving our enemies
constitutional rights, how does that square with keeping some
indefinitely with no charges? If this is about protecting the citizenry,
why are some terrorists free in Bermuda?

The Rank Dishonesty Of Obama

that Jim Geraghty first wrote that all of Barack Obama’s promises come
with expiration dates, and broken promises from politicians are nothing
new, of course. However, one usually expects politicians --- especially
those running on hope and change -- to either remain true to their
professed core values and the issues that fueled the most passion on the
campaign trail, or at least explain their change in the daylight. Obama
did neither, nor did he apologize to the man he besmirched endlessly on
the campaign trail while adopting the policy that Obama most demonized
as a candidate, George Bush.
This goes beyond the policy, which I think
returns to a rational processing of illegal combatants in wartime. We
don’t release POWs until after the conclusion of hostilities, and we
sure as hell shouldn’t be releasing illegal combatants any earlier,
incentivizing terrorists for operating outside the rules of war. The
fact that they joined an endless jihad against the US shouldn’t get them
any consideration for earlier release dates; when the radical Islamists
either surrender or get destroyed, then we can see about releasing them. Until then, they should stay locked up and away from the fight.
Obama has essentially endorsed the detention policies of George Bush
without the courtesy of apologizing for slandering him over the last two
and a half years. Obama and his allies screeched endlessly about
indefinite detentions, and not just in Gitmo, either. They specifically
railed against the holding of terrorists without access to civil courts
in military detention facilities around the world, specifically Bagram,
but in general as well. Not even six months into his term of office,
Obama realized that Bush had it right all along.
Did he even have
the grace to admit that? No. Instead, the White House took the cowardly
method of a late-Friday leak to let people know that Obama had adopted
the Bush policy all over again. Barack Obama just appeared at a press
conference this last Tuesday to discuss Iran, energy policy, and ObamaCare, where he could have told the national press that he had
changed his mind on indefinite detention. Instead, he kept his mouth
shut, and had his media staff whisper it into phones to a couple of
White House favorites in the press.
It’s a shameful performance,
and the measure of the man in charge.

Obama Is Choosing To Be Weak
As he promised
last year, Barack Obama has brought climate change and healthcare reform
to the centre of the nation’s attention. As well as evangelizing, he is
pressing Congress to act. Last week the House of Representatives passed
the Waxman-Markey cap-and-trade bill to curb carbon emissions, a measure
that, if enacted, would touch every part of the US economy. Both House
and Senate have drafted far-reaching healthcare bills, with stunning
price tags.
Obama aims to keep his promises, which is
admirable. Unfortunately, there is a problem. The problem is that the
bills emerging from Congress are bad and Obama does not seem to mind.
The cap-and-trade bill is a travesty. Its net effect on short- to
medium-term carbon emissions will be small to none. This is by design: a
law that really made a difference would make energy dearer, hurt
consumers and force an economic restructuring that would be painful for
many industries and their workers. Congress cannot contemplate those
effects. So the Waxman-Markey bill, while going through the complex
motions of creating a carbon abatement regime, takes care to neutralize
itself.
It proposes safety valves that will ease the cap if it
threatens to have a noticeable effect on energy prices. It relies
heavily on offsets -- theoretical carbon reductions bought from other
countries or other industries -- so that big US emitters will not need
to try so hard. It gives emission permits away, and tells utilities to
rebate the windfall to consumers, so their electricity bills do not go
up. It creates a vastly complicated apparatus, a playground for special
interests and rent-seekers, a minefield of unintended consequences --
and the bottom line for all that is business as usual.
If you
regard universal access to health insurance as an urgent priority, as I
do, the draft healthcare bills are easier to defend as at least a step
in the right direction. Nonetheless, the same evasive mindset -- the
appetite for change without change -- has guided their design. If you
are happy with your present insurance, the bills’ designers keep telling
voters, you will see no difference.
The crux of the US healthcare
problem is the incentives that encourage over-production and
over-consumption of services. Addressing that would alter the way
healthcare is paid for and delivered to all Americans. At that scary
prospect, Congress looks away. Debate thus revolves around how much of
an increase in coverage you can buy for $1,000bn over 10 years in
subsidies and other outlays. That is a good question. But legislators
aim to duck the bigger challenge: controlling long-term growth in costs
per patient.
On both climate change and healthcare, in other
words, the US wills the end but not the means. This is where a president
trusted by the electorate and unafraid to explain hard choices would be
so valuable.
Obama called
on all actors in Honduras to respect the rule of law after military
leaders there arrested President Manuel Zelaya to head off Zelaya's
attempt to hold a vote on constitutional changes deemed illegal by the
country's Supreme Court and Congress.
Zelaya, in a move similar
to his ally, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, had wanted to overturn
the law that prohibited him from seeking another term in office. He
called the arrest a "coup" and a "kidnapping."
"I am deeply
concerned by reports coming out of Honduras regarding the detention and
expulsion of President Mel Zelaya," Obama said in a written statement.
"I call on all political and social actors in Honduras to
respect democratic norms, the rule of law and the tenets of the
Inter-American Democratic Charter. Any existing tensions and disputes
must be resolved peacefully through dialogue free from any outside
interference," Obama said.
One -- In their rush to drool all over themselves
about "the rule of law," do Obama and Hillary realize that it’s Zelaya
who was flouting the rule of law here? I know The One’s a big
believer in executive power but even he’d acknowledge that defying an
order from the Honduran Supreme Court crosses the line (I think).
Two -- Why is Team Barry siding with Zelaya instead of simply
staying out of it? The White House proved with Iran that they’re
capable of maintaining very tactful silences for excruciatingly long
periods of time. Yet today we’ve got not only the secretary of
state but Obama himself rushing out statements.

Within days of my going public last September with the speculation that
terrorist emeritus Bill Ayers helped Barack Obama write his acclaimed
memoir, Dreams From My Father, I learned that I was not alone in that
intuition.
Since then, I have received helpful contributions from
serious people in at least five countries and any number of states and
have integrated many of their observations into my ongoing narrative.
If you are unfamiliar with this research, please read
this before going forward.
About a week ago, however, I
heard from a new contributor. I will refer to him as "Mr. West."
Like most contributors, he prefers to remain anonymous. The media
punishment that Joe the Plumber received has much to do with this nearly
universal reticence.
A week before that, I heard from another

should dispel the doubts of all but the willfully blind that Ayers

June 30, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) will hold a
news conference in Washington, D.C., to announce the launch of a major
campaign to distribute
free copies of the Quran, Islam's revealed text,
to 100,000 local, state and national leaders.
CAIR's "Share the
Quran" educational campaign was prompted by Obama's recent address to
Muslims worldwide in which he quoted from that holy text.
In the
multi-year initiative, American Muslims will sponsor Qurans for
distribution to governors, state attorneys general, educators, law
enforcement officials, state and national legislators, local elected and
public officials, media professionals, and other local or national
leaders who shape public opinion or determine policy.
"Through
this ground-breaking outreach initiative, we hope not only to educate
policy-makers and opinion leaders about Islam, but also to provide an
opportunity for American Muslims to reach out to their fellow citizens
of other faiths," said CAIR Board Chairman State Sen. Larry Shaw (NC).
The "Share the Quran" initiative is an outgrowth of CAIR's
successful "Explore the Quran" campaign and is part of the celebration
of the Washington-based council's 15th anniversary. CAIR was founded in
June of 1994.

Obama Reaches Out To Terrorists
The Obama Report
reports that Hezbollah
Deputy Secretary General, Sheikh Naim Qassem revealed on Thursday that
US officials close to the Obama administration have reached out to
Hezbollah and have sought to initiate a dialog with the terrorist
organization.
"Several US officials at different levels and more
or less close to the administration have asked to speak with [us], but
we have refused," he said. "It is useless to have any dialog with the
Americans since they regard us as terrorists."
The Washington
Times on Wednesday
revealed that the Obama administration had recently
"sent a letter to [Iran's] supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khomenei,
calling for an improvement in relations." But apparently, the
administration is also seeking to forge a more amiable relationship with
Hezbollah.
Mr. Qassem also denied that Hezbollah was taking sides
in the current conflict in Iran.
Perhaps, taking his cue from
Obama, who recently said that the US "respects the sovereignty
of the Islamic Republic of Iran and is not interfering with Iran's
affairs," Mr Qassem declared: "Hezbollah has nothing to do with Iran's
internal affairs... We don't side with anyone. This is an internal
Iranian issue."

Obama Blinked
The Provocateur blog
says Obama
was involved in a cross world geopolitical game of chicken with the
tyrant of North Korea, Kim Jong Il, and it appears Obama blinked.
The United States will not use force to inspect a North Korean ship
suspected of carrying banned goods, an American official was quoted as
saying Friday.
An American destroyer has been shadowing the North
Korean freighter sailing off China's coast, possibly on its way to
Myanmar.
Defense Undersecretary Michele Flournoy met with South
Korean officials in Seoul on Friday as the U.S. sought international
support for aggressively enforcing a U.N. sanctions resolution aimed at
punishing Pyongyang for its second nuclear test last month. The North
Korean-flagged ship, Kang Nam 1, is the first to be tracked under the
U.N. resolution.
The USS John McCain (named for the father and
grandfather of the current Senator) has been shadowing this ship. It's
been on full alert and ready to engage. The U.S. suspects that this ship
is carrying illicit weapons to Myanmar. The U.S., per a UN resolution,
had the right to board any North Korean ship that it suspected of
carrying illicit weapons.
Meanwhile, Kim had promised war if any
of his ships were stopped and not allowed to reach their destination.
So, what was set up here was a long distance geo political game
of chicken. Obama risked war by boarding the ship without permission. On
the other hand, he would be backing down and again not enforcing a UN
resolution by not following through. It turns out that Obama has chosen
the former. He has given the order not to board any ship if we aren't
invited in. By doing so, he gives the tyrant a win in this round. Kim Jong Il often uses provocation to test the world to see how far he can
go.
Cleary, he has seen that he can go farther in testing Obama.

Obama administration officials, fearing a battle with Congress that

After months of internal debate over how to
close the military facility in Cuba, White House officials are
increasingly worried that reaching quick agreement with Congress on a
new detention system may be impossible. Several officials said there is
concern in the White House that the administration may not be able to
close the prison by Obama's January deadline.
White
House spokesman Ben LaBolt said that there is no executive order and
that the administration has not decided whether to issue one. But one
administration official suggested that the White House is already trying
to build support for an order.
"Civil liberties groups have
encouraged the administration, that if a prolonged detention system were
to be sought, to do it through executive order," the official said. Such
an order could be rescinded and would not block later efforts to write
legislation, but civil liberties groups generally oppose long-term
detention, arguing that detainees should be prosecuted or released.
The Justice Department has declined to comment on the prospects for
a long-term detention system while internal reviews of Guantanamo
detainees' cases are underway. One task force, which is assessing
detainee policy, is expected to complete its work by July 21.
In
a May speech, Obama broached the need for a system of
long-term detention and suggested that it would include congressional
and judicial oversight. "We must recognize that these detention policies
cannot be unbounded. They can't be based simply on what I or the
executive branch decide alone," he said.

Mr. Obama, Show Us Your Birth Certificate

Boone says: I fly a lot. It's gotten to be such a hassle that I'm
cutting down on my air travel, and even turning down a number of
engagements because I just don't want to go through the ordeal at the
airports.
What ordeal? If you ask that question, you must not
have flown anywhere since 9/11. I'm talking about the security gauntlet
every passenger has to go through!
If you have flown anywhere,
you've had to get in the lines. Take off every bit of metal bigger than
a dime, your jacket, hat and shoes, perhaps your belt … and, if you have
a computer, put it in a separate tray, hoping for a reunion after you
pass your body through a powerful scanner. If you have a metal knee or
hip replacement or a pacemaker, you'll probably have to go through a
separate line and submit to a "wand scan" and even a hands-on "pat
down." It can be quite humiliating, and the process can even cause you
to miss your plane, after all that.
If you've checked into a
hotel lately, you know you always have to produce your driver's license
or valid photo identification. Same if you want to rent a car. When you
shop at Costco, for Pete's sake, you have to prove you're who you are
and that you're a credentialed Costco shopper with a valid credit card
(which they'll verify on the spot) just to get in the door.
When
you get gas -- if you can still afford it to -- and you want to use your
credit card, you pass it into a slot checker, and still have to punch in
your zip code. Right? In today's world, you have to be ready to show
valid, verifiable identification for almost anything you want to buy or
do.
What about applying for the most powerful, consequential,
dangerous office in the world -- THE PRESIDENCY OF THE UNITED STATES?
The only thing I'll
sign is a petition for Obama, Obama for America, and Factcheck to be
charged with
criminal document fraud and Internet fraud for creating and
proffering a false identification document, aka the fabricated COLB
image posted on Obama's website, among others, that Press Secretary
Gibbs publicly admitted was put there by the aforementioned President of
the United States and his Presidential Administration.
These said
individuals and parties did willingly, and with malice aforethought,
violate
Chapter 18 of the United States Code, Section 1028, Fraud and
related activity in connection with identification documents,
authentication features, and information, by creating and preferring
what they allege was Obama's actual, original birth certificate, but
was, in fact, a false identification document as defined by statute
below:
A "false identification document" is any document *or
facsimile of a document) of a type intended or commonly accepted for the
purposes of identification of individuals that -- (A) is not issued by or
under the authority of a governmental entity or was issued under the
authority of a governmental entity but was subsequently altered for
purposes of deceit; and (B) appears to be issued by or under the
authority of the United States Government, a State, a political
subdivision of a State, a foreign government, a political subdivision of
a foreign government, or an international governmental or
quasi-governmental organization.
The Obama Administration, the
Obama Campaign, aka Obama for America, Factcheck.org, and Barack Hussein
Obama as the principle mastermind of this document fraud who directed
the creation and distribution of a false identification document for
himself, are hereby charged with the commission of felony document
fraud, punishable by up to five (5) years in prison, and a maximum fine
of $250,000 for each offense.
It is a statement of fact, and
admission therewith, that the Obama Campaign, aka Obama for America, did
create a minimum of three (3) false identification document copies and
distributed said copies to the Daily Kos, Factcheck, and Politifact;
and, additionally, posted the original false identification document on
Obama's own website, "My.BarackObama.com" and also on a separate website
known as, "Fight The Smears."
Furthermore, two months after the
creation and distribution of these false identification documents, Obama
for America, in collusion with Factcheck.org, a subsidiary of the
Annenberg Public Policy Center, owned by the Annenberg Foundation and
funded by billionaire George Soros, created and posted nine (9)
photographs of what they further alleged was the same, false
identification document that they had earlier alleged was a scanned
facsimile of Obama's original birth certificate -- thus compounding
their earlier offenses with further violations of the same statutes.
In all, then presidential candidate, Barack Hussein Obama, his
campaign organization, d/b/a Obama for America, and Annenberg's Factcheck.org organization are hereby charged with thirteen (13) separate
violations of Chapter 18 of the United States Code, Section 1028.
It is further alleged that these individuals and organizations, by
virtue of displaying and promoting these fraudulent images as genuine
government-issued documents, to the voting populaces of all 50 states in
the Union, are hereby, also guilty of committing Internet fraud, in
violation of individual state laws and Federal laws.
Lastly,
these false documents are also in violation of Hawaiian state forgery
statues as the State Government of Hawaii was directly deceived and
harmed irrespective of the other charges.
I call upon the
Attorney General of the State of Hawaii, Attorneys General of the other
49 states, the DC District Attorney, the Attorney General of the United
States, and the Congress of the United States to launch their own
investigations of the crimes committed against the respective state and
national governments, and the citizens under these jurisdictions.
Flopping

fear of a corruption probe! The congressional ACORN corruption probe has
been disbanded by the "Powers that Be."
Here’s another in what is
fast becoming a series of moves designed to further shield Obama allies
from any accountability before the law:
House Judiciary Committee
Chairman John Conyers Jr. has backed off his plan to investigate
purported wrongdoing by the liberal activist group ACORN, saying "powers
that be" put the kibosh on the idea.
Mr. Conyers, Michigan
Democrat, earlier bucked his party leaders by calling for hearings on
accusations the Association of Community Organization for Reform Now
(ACORN) has committed crimes ranging from voter fraud to a mob-style
"protection" racket.
"The powers that be decided against it,"
Mr. Conyers told The Washington Times as he left the House chambers
Wednesday.
The chairman declined to elaborate, shrugging off
questions about who told him how to run his committee and give the
Democrat-allied group a pass.

Eligibility Dispute Is Serious
A judge
hearing one of the cases challenging Barack Obama's eligibility to be
president has taken the unusual step of
describing the dispute as
a
serious constitutional issue and further has begun adding letters of
comment from the public to the court record.
Word of
the action
by U.S. Magistrate Judge Joel Schneider in Camden, N.J., comes from attorney Mario Apuzzo, who is handling the
Kerchner vs. Obama
case, which Apuzzo filed in January on behalf of Charles F. Kerchner
Jr., Lowell T. Patterson, Darrell James Lenormand and Donald H. Nelson
Jr.
Named as defendants are Barack Hussein Obama II, the U.S., Congress,
the Senate, House of Representatives and former Vice President Dick
Cheney along with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
The case focuses
on the alleged failure in Congress to follow the Constitution. That
document, the lawsuit states, "provides that Congress must fully qualify
the candidate 'elected' by the Electoral College Electors."
The
Constitution provides, the lawsuit said, "If the president-elect shall
have failed to qualify, then the vice president elect shall act as
president until a president shall have qualified."
"There existed
significant public doubt and grievances from plaintiffs and other
concerned Americans regarding Obama's eligibility to be president and
defendants had the sworn duty to protect and preserve the Constitution
and specifically under the 20th Amendment, Section 3, a Constitutional
obligation to confirm whether Obama, once the electors elected him, was
qualified," the case explained.
"Congress is the elected
representative of the American people and the people speak and act
through them," the lawsuit said.
The defendants "violated" the
20th Amendment by failing to assure that Obama meets the eligibility
requirements," the lawsuit said.

The defendants’ motion
to dismiss the lawsuit was filed today and
is posted on the PACER system as Document
27. A copy of defendants’ motion and
supporting brief are available in the
right frame of this blog.
We all know that we have seen months of stalling from
the defendants. We fully expected this dismissal motion which Obama has
previously used when he was a mere candidate.
The difference now is
that Obama is the putative President and
not simply a candidate with a 1st
Amendment right to run for political
office.
As the putative
President, Obama must show that he is
qualified under Article II of our
Constitution. We also know that Congress
failed to exercise its Constitutional duty
to properly vet Obama prior to confirming
him as President at the Joint Session.
The motion return date
is July 20, 2009. We, of course, will file
opposition to their dismissal motion prior
to that date.
I will comment more
later after I have had a chance to fully
study the motion and supporting brief in
greater detail.

Once again, the question
is posed
incorrectly -- "Is There Enough Proof President Obama is a U.S.
citizen?"
No one is questioning Obama's citizenship. The
correct question seeks to answer Obama's eligibility under the U. S.
Constitution's Article II, Section 1's "natural born" requirements.
How can a self-admitted British subject and citizen of Kenya ever be
considered a "natural born" American citizen?

minutes during ABC’s "Health Care" infomercial!
It’s clear to
anyone who has ever dozed through an Obama speech that the man likes the
sound of his own voice. He’s known for rambling, long winded
speechifying even in press conferences.
ABC’s all Obama all day
long extravaganza Wednesday was no different. Obama answered one
question from the handpicked crew of supporters attending the Town Hall
style event on health care with a vague monologue that went on for four
minutes and thirty three seconds. No doubt leaving many viewers
scrambling for the remote or praying for a commercial break.
It’s also noteworthy that nowhere in what was billed as a
"dialogue" on health care did Obama face any Republican critics. Even
critical advertising was banned.
Obama possesses the rare gift of
being able to say so much and so little all at the same time. The only
question is: when will voters decide they’ve heard too much?

Obama Urged To Appoint Envoy To Islam
Buoyed by the presence in
the White House of a president who wants to prioritize relations with
the world’s Muslims, the head of the Organization of the Islamic
Conference (OIC) visited both Washington and Brussels this week, and
urged the U.S. to quickly appoint an envoy to the Islamic bloc.
OIC secretary-general Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu was in Washington on Tuesday
when the State Department, in an internal memo, announced that it has
selected a "special representative to Muslim communities."
The
OIC, a 57-member bloc of Muslim majority states that wields increasing
clout at the United Nations, already has permanent missions in the U.N.
cities of New York and Geneva, and "OIC groups" in Washington, Vienna
and Paris.
Headquartered in the Saudi city of Jeddah, the OIC has
existed for 40 years, but in recent times has become much more visible
in the West, largely as a result of its controversial campaign against
the "defamation" of Islam.
The
department chose not to announce the move publicly, but State Department
spokesman Ian Kelly on Thursday acknowledged that
Farah Pandith has been
chosen for the position. Pandith, a Muslim of Kashmiri origin,
previously served as "senior advisor for Muslim engagement to the assistant secretary for
European and Eurasian affairs."
