Obama Advisor Defends Sharia And
The Overthrow Of The U.S. Constitution
Vijay Kumar, candidate for Congress, says that
according to an
article in the United Kingdom's Telegraph, in October of 2009,
Barack Obama's adivsor on Muslim affairs, Dalia Mogahed, went on Islamic
television with members of the radical Islamic group Hizb ut Tahrir and
defended their blatant call for the overthrow of all "man-made law" --
which includes the United States Constitution -- and the adoption of
Islamic Sharia law as "the source of legislation":
Miss Mogahed, appointed to the President's
Council on Faith-Based and Neighbourhood Partnerships, said the
Western view of Sharia was "oversimplified" and the majority of
women around the world associate it with "gender justice".
The White House adviser made the remarks on a London-based TV
discussion programme hosted by Ibtihal Bsis, a member of the
extremist
Hizb ut Tahrir party.
The group believes in the
non-violent destruction of Western democracy and the creation of an
Islamic state under Sharia Law across the world.
Miss Mogahed
appeared alongside Hizb ut Tahrir's national women's officer,
Nazreen Nawaz.
During the 45-minute discussion, on the Islam
Channel programme Muslimah Dilemma earlier this week, the two
members of the group made repeated attacks on secular "man-made
law," and the West's "lethal cocktail of liberty and capitalism".
They called for Sharia Law to be "the source of legislation" and
said that women should not be "permitted to hold a position of
leadership in government".
Miss Mogahed made no challenge to
these demands and said that "promiscuity" and the "breakdown of
traditional values" were what Muslims admired least about the West.
...Miss Mogahed admitted that even many Muslims associated
Sharia with "maximum criminal punishments" and "laws that... to many
people seem unequal to women," but added: "Part of the reason that
there is this perception of Sharia is because Sharia is not well
understood and Islam as a faith is not well understood."
I call for Dalia Mogahed's immediate dismissal. While our
country's men and women, sons and daughters, friends, brothers, sisters,
mothers, and fathers are shedding their blood on foreign soil, being
maimed and slaughtered while fighting to defend of our liberties, our
rights, our freedom, our Constitution, and the very foundation of our
way of life, an official connected to our own White House is sitting
down next to known, vocal, avowed enemies of our Constitution and our
nation, giving them aid and comfort, defending Sharia law as an
overthrow of our Constitution, and having it broadcast all over the
world on Islamic television.
It is an absolute outrage. Neville
Chamberlain's fawning appeasement of a madman was nothing compared to
such blatant, mutinous sedition, carried out over the imprimatur of the
White House and under the auspices of our own Commander in Chief of our
armed forces -- who are dying under his direction at the hands of the
enemies his "advisor" defends!
Where is the Justice Department?
Where is Congress? Where are the investigations and hearings? Their
inaction makes a mockery of our Constitution and the highest laws of our
land.

Does This Obama Appointee
Douglas J. Hagmann,

Barack Hussein Obama, catering to both Muslim and globalist agendas, is
exposing his preference to Islamic and globalist agendas and placing yet
another nail in America's coffin by appointing Rashad Hussain as special
envoy to the Organization of the Islamic Conference. To understand the
extreme significance of this appointment, it is vital for Americans to
understand the composition and objectives of the OIC, its global
influence and potential impact on the U.S., and also be fully aware of
the background of Rashad Hussain.
The
Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) is the world's largest
Islamic entity with a membership of 57 Muslim states and a permanent
delegation to the United Nations. Aside from the United Nations,
it is the largest international entity of any type. It was formed
on September 25, 1969 by the Islamic heads of state in Rabat, Morocco as
an affront to Israel, with its primary objective to regain complete
Muslim control and Islamic religious dominance over Jerusalem. It
is now based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Top PLO terrorist leader and Muslim Brotherhood
descendent Yasser Arafat was given the honorary position of permanent
deputy chairman of the OIC in the years following its establishment.
Unsurprisingly, the symbol of the OIC is a flag with a green background
and an upward facing red crescent within a white circle. Above the
crescent are the words "Allahu Akbar" -- Allah is the greatest -- written
in Arabic script.
Since its establishment, the OIC has been THE
primary organization pushing for the global criminalization
of any criticism of Islam, Muslims, Islamic Sharia law, and all cultural
and religious aspects of Islam. An early adherent to the use of
the term Islamophobia, the OIC urged the United Nations Commission on
Human Rights (UNCHR) in 2005 to pass a resolution titled "Combating
Defamation of Religions," a relatively benign sounding objective until
closer inspection of the resolution found that it applied
only to criticism of Islam. The "Combating
Defamation of Religions" resolution was formally passed on March 30,
2007 by a vote of 24 to 14.
The OIC is engaged in an
aggressive campaign to intimidate Western governments, including the
U.S., into adopting hate speech laws that will effectively prohibit any
form of criticism of Islam, including violent acts of Islamic jihad.
Its march toward criminalizing any negative speech against Islam is
rapidly progressing. In 2008, the OIC issued a 58-page report
citing numerous allegations of Islamophobia, even identifying the state
of Florida's Attorney General's decision to show the movie Obsession to his staff,
a documentary that warned about the actions and objectives of "radical
Islam," as an example of hate speech and Islamophobia. This comes
from the same entity that, in early May 2002, during at a meeting of
religious affairs ministers of the OIC in Kuala Lampur, a Saudi
representative continud to justify "suicide bombings." Saudi
Arabia's Minister of Islamic Affairs, Sheikh Saleh Al al-Sheikh
reportedly stated that suicide bombing are permitted and the (Islamic)
victims are considered to have died a martyr's death. Their global
influence is growing rapidly.
Now, Obama is appointing a
new envoy -- Rashad HUSSAIN, his associate deputy counsel to that
position. Who is Rashad HUSSAIN? HUSSAIN was a Yale Law
School student and from 2003-2005, an editor of the Yale Law Journal.
He eventually served as a Department of Justice trial attorney and in
January 2009 was appointed White House deputy associate counsel.
At a
Muslim Students Association (MSA) conference in Chicago on September
5, 2004 HUSSAIN was quoted as saying that the case against Sami al
Arian, a University of South Florida professor, North American head of
Palestinian Islamic Jihad, former chairman of the Islamic Academy of
Florida, and the recipient of a 50-count indictment by a federal grand
jury in February 2003, was politically motivated. Al Arian was
also involved in the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), the
American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (AADC), the American Muslim
Council (AMC), the American Muslim Alliance, and the Council on
American-Islamic Relations (CAIR).
According to investigative
documents, al Arian had connections to the blind sheik Omar Abdel Rahman,
mastermind of the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center, and to Hamas
official Mohammed Sakr and other high ranking terrorists, including
Sudanese terrorist Hassan Turbai and Islamic Jihad co-founder Abdel
Aziz-Odeh.
HUSSAIN reportedly stated
that the prosecution of al Arian was being used "to squash dissent."
HUSSAIN was also quoted telling a Muslim students' event in Chicago that
if U.S. Muslims did not speak out against the injustices taking place in
America, then everyone's rights would be in jeopardy.
In 2006, al Arian entered
into a plea agreement to plead guilty to conspiracy to help a "specially
designated terrorist" organization, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and
was sentenced to serve 57 months in prison with credit to time served
and face deportation. In March 2008, the U.S. Department of
Justice subpoenaed Al-Arian to testify before another grand jury.
He refused to do so and was cited for contempt in June of that year.
He is presently under house arrest and awaits trial on contempt charges.
After being selected as
special envoy to the OIC, HUSSSAIN initially denied making any such
statements, then stated that his statements were taken out of context,
and as of last week, admits to making statements that were
"ill-conceived or not well-formulated." According to recent
reports, HUSSAIN's statements were part of a much broader defense of
suspected Islamic terrorists.
The events that happened next involving Rashad
HUSSAIN are nothing less than a cover-up that can be traced back to the
highest levels at the White House. According to published reports,
The Washington Report on Middle East Affairs deleted two paragraphs from
a 2004 article that quoted HUSSAIN, and then tried to further cover up
the "cover up" by claiming that the web site Archive.org was lying "and
implied that anyone who wonders what happened to the article is a bigot.
The White House stood
behind HUSSAIN, who unsurprisingly, was named a Fellow to the Paul and
Daisy SOROS Foundation in 2003. Paul SOROS is the older brother of
George SOROS, a financial supporter of Barack Hussein OBAMA and a
virulent anti-capitalist and globalist.
Earlier, Fox News
reported to have "unearthed tapes" telling an audience that he
favors the imposition of Islamic Sharia law on a global scale.
What better position to hold than envoy to an organization with the very
same objectives. Despite the controversy involving HUSSAIN, Barack
HUSSEIN Obama is standing firm on his appointment.
Is Sharia an Obama
goal? I don't know, but he sure is appointing a lot of people that
publicly call for the overthrow of the U. S. Constitution in favor of
Sharia Law. Based on the fact that Obama is violating Article II,
Section 1, Clause 5 of the U. S. Constitution on a daily basis, and
appointing terrorists' lawyers to the Justice Department, it's not
beyond the realm of possibility.
The Professor Who Sharia’ed Bill Clinton
Daniel Greenfield says Obama has announced the appointment of Azizah al-Hibri to the United
States Commission on International Religious Freedom. Al-Hibri (full
name, Azizah Yahia Muhammad Toufiq al-Hibri) is a Muslim professor and
the granddaughter of a Sheikh, who claims that the
Koran inspired Thomas Jefferson and the Founders and that the Saudi
criminal justice system
is more moral than the American one because it accepts blood money
from murderers.
Appointing a Muslim scholar to a commission on international
religious freedom is only justifiable if that scholar recognized that
much of the injustice in the world originates from Islamic law. But Al-Hibri
has made her career whitewashing Islamic law and even presenting it as
superior to American law. While she has been called a reformer,
her call in 2001 for a return to the
fundamentals echoes Wahhabi rhetoric. Rather than
examining the incompatibilities of Islamic law and
the modern world, and urging the appropriate
adjustments, as genuine reformers have done, Al-Hibri
instead builds myths that uphold the Islamist
agenda.
According
to Al-Hibri, "Islamic fiqh is deeper and better
than Western codes of law". She favorably compares
Saudi Arabia’s willingness to accept blood money
bribes to excuse a murder, to the "impersonal and
powerful" American justice system. Al-Hibri is often
billed as a Muslim feminist, but she is equally
hypocritical on women’s rights. Rather than
conceding that Islamic law discriminates against
women, she whitewashes its discriminatory treatment
of women, arguing that guardianship is meant to
protect "inexperienced women."
Rather than trying to bring Islam in line with
the modern world, Azizah Al-Hibri pushes for the
modern world to be brought in line with Islam.
Rather than reforming Islam, it is America that she
would like to reform to Islamic standards. Placing a
woman who believes that American law is inferior to
that of the Koran on an American commission to
promote international religious freedom perverts the
purpose of the commission and promotes religious
tyranny instead.
Given a forum to call for reform, Al-Hibri
unerringly insists that there is nothing to reform.
At the UN,
Al-Hibri expressed outrage that the Koran, which
"established acceptance of others, now needed to be
defended" and insisted that Islam "guaranteed
freedom of thought". Listening to her defend
Mohammed’s tyranny as an early form of democracy at
the UN is a reminder of the era when Soviet
representatives to the UN angrily defended their
record on human rights and insisted that there is no
freedom outside of Communism.

The Arab American Action Network was founded by former PLO operative

Obama was a
director of Bill Ayers' Woods Fund from 1994 through 2001, when
the board approved a $40,000 grant to the Arab American Action
Network.
In 2003 Barack Obama was an honored guest at a
dinner sponsored by the AAAN for former PLO-operative Rashid Khalidi.
During the dinner a video was taken that shows Barack Obama
celebrating with members of this Palestinian group who are openly
hostile towards Israel. Barack Obama even gave a toast to a
Rashid Khalidi at this going away party. The LA Times
will not release the video from this Jew-bashing dinner.

are the governments and military forces of the U.S. and Israel.
The vast majority of the world sees and understands this, and are in

NASA Chief Goes To Saudi Arabia

Bolden's trip to Saudi Arabia:
The NASA chief who caused an uproar over the
summer when he said outreach to the Muslim world might be his
"foremost" priority has embarked on a trip this weekend to Saudi
Arabia.
A NASA spokesman said the visit is part of a
multicountry tour. Administrator Charles Bolden and a
delegation of several other NASA officials arrive in Saudi Arabia on
Friday following a trip to Prague. From the Middle East, they
will head next to Nepal where Bolden will give a keynote address at
a climate change conference.
A Google search reveals little as to others
covering the junket, but one will find
the following being mentioned more widely:
Despite the fact Congress finally passed the
three-year $58 billion NASA Authorization Act late Wednesday night,
hundreds of space workers found themselves without jobs Friday.
Some could be blamed on the uncertainty that has hung over the
space program for the past nine months, but most were because of the
space shuttle's pending retirement.
United Space Alliance
laid off 333 employees who worked here in the Johnson Space Center
area Friday, as planned, and Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership
President Bob Mitchell said "at least an additional 400" were being
laid off at aerospace firms, big and small, all around the area as
the week came to an end.
"It is our hope that some . . . .
some portion of these will be rehired in the first quarter of next
year when the funding becomes clearer," he added.
Jacobs
Engineering laid off 129 employees at its Clear Lake offices just
two weeks ago. Most of the layoffs have been expected for
months when it became clear that at least part of the Constellation
program was going to be terminated and the shuttle was being
retired.
USA Communications Manager Kari Fluegel said Friday
that her company had also laid off an additional 1,222 employees in
Florida and Alabama. Almost 800 were terminated at Cape
Canaveral. The Huntsville, Ala., newspaper reported that from
150 to 250 space workers were being laid off as NASA switched from
one rocket program to another and that some were expecting to come
back when work starts on the new program.
That won't be all
the layoffs at USA.
Fruegel said "we'll initiate the
next layoff in January when another 200 to 300 will be laid off.
We'll start that process in October with notices given out in about
60 days."
It is compelling that at the same time NASA Chief
Bolden is reaching out to Muslims in Saudi Arabia, Americans by the
thousands are being laid off as part of the Obama's retooling of the
space agency.

Get Ready For New Muslim Invasion
Dr. Paul L. Williams
says Barack Hussein Obama, in a determination letter to Congress,
has announced that he will allow an additional 80,000 immigrants – -
mostly from Islamic countries – - to resettle in the United States
during fiscal year 2011.
Obama says that the increase in Muslim
immigrants "is justified by humanitarian concerns or is otherwise in the
national interest."

Refugee Resettlement Watch and other organizations
have expressed grave concern that Obama is allowing so many immigrants
into the country while so many Americans remain out of work and living
in poverty. According to the US Department of Labor, 14.8 million
Americans remain unemployed. 6.1 million have been out of work for 27
weeks or over. This figure has been challenged by the Union of the
Unemployed who provide statistics that the actual number of unemployed
Americans is 31 million.
The U. S. Census Bureau shows that the
median household income for Americans has fallen to $49,777 – - a
decline of 0.7% in the past year.
One in seven Americans no
longer can feed themselves. According to The Wall Street Journal,
14.3% of the American people live in abject poverty.
A refugee is
defined by The US Department of Immigration and Naturalization as
someone who has left one’s country due to persecution or a fear of
persecution. This accounts for the sharp rise of Somali
communities throughout the country.
However, the definition of
refugee is "fudged" in several cases. "Refugees" who have not left
their country due to persecution, according to Obama’s determination
letter, can still be called "refugees" if they are from Iraq, one of the
Islamic countries of the former Soviet Union, or Cuba.
According
to Section 413 (a) of the Immigration and Nationalities Act, the Office
of Refugee Resettlement is required to submit an annual report to
Congress on the activities of the refugees. The report is supposed
to include the number who are on public welfare programs, but no report
has forthcoming from the Office of Refugee Resettlement since 2007.
Just what we need 50,000 more
Muslims -- especially Somalis -- they'll assimilate well -- right!.

How Secure Does This Make You Feel?
Aaron Klein is reporting that Homeland Security
Secretary Janet Napolitano has sworn in Mohamed Elibiary, a member of
her agency's Advisory Council, who is a strong supporter of the radical
Islamist theologian who calls for "war" with the non-Muslim world and
whose teachings inspired and continues to govern al-Qaida and Islamic
terrorist organizations worldwide.
Elibiary, president and CEO
of the Freedom and Justice
Foundation of Carrollton, Texas, also spoke at a conference that
honored the anti-U.S. founder of the Iranian Islamic revolution,
Ayatollah Khomeini. Elibiary has strongly criticized the
government's persecution of fundraisers for Hamas and is a defender of
the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR).
Elibiary fervently endorses the teachings of Egyptian writer
Sayyid Qutb, who
is widely considered the father of the modern Islamic terrorist
revolution. Osama bin Laden and terror groups worldwide rely on
Qutb for their fatwas and ideology.
Elibiary, meanwhile, has
criticized the U.S. government's prosecution and conviction of the
Holy Land Foundation and five former officials for providing more
than $12 million to Hamas, depicting the case as a defeat for the United
States.
He wrote an op-ed in the Dallas Morning News suggesting
the convictions were part of a U.S. government policy of "denying our
civil liberties and privacy at home" while pursuing anti-terror policies
that have "left thousands of Americans dead, tens of thousands maimed,
trillions of taxpayer dollars squandered and our homeland more
vulnerable than ever."
Elibiary may
depict the Holy Land Foundation case as a defeat for the United States
all he wants. The defendants were found guilty on all counts (at
link above). It's perfectly acceptable for Muslims to lie to
advance Islam. It's called al-taqqiya.
Stealth Jihadists At Obama's Department Of
Justice

says, increasingly, the "J" in DoJ points more to jihad than to
justice.
Lema Bashir was at the center of Virginia failing to mail
military ballots in time in 2008. The same mistakes were repeated in
2010, and United States military voters were heavily disenfranchised
because of in-actions by Bashir and DOJ throughout the year. Disenfranchising the military vote is policy. You could make a case that
bad mistakes were made in 2008, but that when those same mistakes are
made and made worse in 2010 by a devout Muslim who calls Israel
"northern Palestine," I submit that it is no accident but deliberate
policy.
Meet Obama's New Top NASA Scientist, Waleed
Abdalati
The Obama Administration has picked an Arab --
whose surname indicates that he might be Muslim (but it's not certain)
-- as its top scientist. This appointment will fit nicely with
NASA chief, Charles Bolden's, Obama-directed outreach to the Muslim
world, that Bolden described as his "foremost priority."
Reading Asdalati's
CV, the guy has nothing to do with aeronautics, or space:
Dr.
Waleed Abdalati, the Head of NASA's Cryospheric Sciences Branch, at the
Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC), Greenbelt, Md. conducts research on
high-latitude glaciers and ice sheets using satellite and airborne
instruments. He has led or participated in eight field expeditions
to remote regions of the Greenland ice sheet and ice caps in the
Canadian Arctic. From 2000 to the present, he has been Manager of
NASA's Cryospheric Sciences Program, overseeing NASA-funded research
efforts on glaciers, ice sheets, sea ice, and polar climate. For
the last four years, he has served as Program Scientist for NASA's Ice
Cloud and land Elevation Satellite (ICESat), which has as its primary
objective to increase our understanding of changes in the Earth's ice
cover. Dr. Abdalati also worked as a research scientist at NASA's
GSFC 1996 through 2000.
He's an expert on ice -- and get this --
climate!
It appears Obama is refocusing NASA's mission away from
space and into climate research -- echoes of
Van Jones.
NASA is
retiring
the shuttle program next year, and the Soviet-designed Soyuz will now
become the world's only lifeline to the International Space Station.
This
predicament is provoking concern over excess reliance
on Russia's space program and
the Soviet-designed Soyuz.
Homeland Security’s Muslim Advisor
Big Peace
says when Mohamed Elibiary was appointed earlier this year to the
Department of Homeland Security’s newly-formed Countering Violent
Extremism Working Group, it was done quietly and without fanfare.
It’s hard to believe that this silence was accidental, considering
Elibiary’s appearance at a
conference honoring Ayatollah Khomeini, his attacks on prosecution
of terrorist fundraisers, his active promotion of jihadist ideology
godfather Sayyid Qutb, and the threat he made against a Dallas Morning
News journalist who repeatedly exposed his extremist views.
But
none of that has stopped Mohamed Elibiary from promoting himself as a
"de-radicalization" expert courted not only by Janet Napolitano and the
Department of Homeland Security, but testifying before Congress earlier
this year, giving briefings to the Congressional Research Service, and
being hailed by the establishment media.
Perhaps the hardest
thing for Elibiary to explain away is his sharing the podium with a
rabid anti-American and anti-Jewish speaker who has publicly pledged his
loyalty to the Iranian regime, but he has offered several fantastic
explanations for appearing at the December 2004 conference honoring the
life and works of the "Great Islamic Visionary" Ayatollah Ruhollah
Khomeini.
The Dallas Morning News condemned the meeting and its
high-profile speakers as a "disgrace," Elibiary defended his appearance
by claiming that he never knew the conference was to honor Khomeini and
that he endorsed the conference out of "Muslim unity" and his hopes to
present a "moderating counterpoint" -- one that apparently was never
offered.
When the local CBS affiliate reported that keynote
speaker and outspoken Khomeini enthusiast Mohammad Al-Asi had delivered
an anti-American, anti-Jewish harangue during the conference, and a
10-year old boy had opened the conference praising Khomeini for reviving
"pure Islamic thinking" and calling President Bush "the greatest enemy
of the Muslim Ummah," Elibiary conveniently claimed that he didn’t hear
those comments since he had arrived after the boy spoke and before Al-Asi’s
speech. He has elaborated on those excuses for speaking at the
event on his own website.
More recently, Elibiary has publicly
attacked the prosecution the Holy Land Foundation executives who were
convicted of raising millions in support of Hamas, and a landmark
Supreme Court decision earlier this year that backed federal laws
prohibiting material support for terrorism.
When Elibiary
testified before Congress earlier this year, his status as a
"de-radicalization expert" was challenged by the Investigative Project
on Terrorism, who noted his running online feud with Dallas Morning News
editorial page editor Rod Dreher over Elibiary’s defense of the
godfather of jihadist ideology, Sayyid Qutb. The 9/11 Commission
observed that Qutb was instrumental in developing the ideological
foundations of Al-Qaeda’s terrorist worldview that justified the 9/11
attacks and inspired Osama bin Laden.
When Elibiary was cited as
an expert source by the Congressional Research Service in a study
published last November, Dreher recounted some of the defenses made by
Elibiary in defense of Qutb in response to an editorial identifying the
threat from Qutb’s jihadist ideology. This included Elibiary’s
stated position that some who have read Qutb’s writings saw "the
potential for a strong spiritual rebirth that’s truly ecumenical
allowing all faiths practiced in America to enrich us and motivate us to
serve God better by serving our fellow man more." Dreher reprinted
some of Qutb’s statements calling for the establishment of a global
Islamic state, the imposition of shariah law, and carrying out violence
against non-Muslims and non-compliant Muslims until the entire world is
in submission to Allah and Islamic law.
Even more disturbing is
an
email exchange the two had in 2006, where Elibiary called Dreher "a
Klansman without a hood" and warned "treat people as inferiors and you
can expect someone to put a banana in your exhaust pipe or something."
With that in mind, it is hard to understand why the Department of
Homeland Security would be embracing Mohamed Elibiary and seeking his
counsel. It would be one thing if they understood their outreach
to Elibiary as an attempt to engage extremists, but it is clear that
Janet Napolitano and her DHS colleagues believes that Elibiary is part
of the solution, rather than part of the problem.
One only needs
to read the lame recommendations offered by the Countering Violent
Extremism Working Group to identify the corrosive effect of trying to
mainstream extremists like Mohamed Elibiary is having on U.S. government
policy concerning violent Islamic ideology.
Elibiary
is employing the
Islamic tactic of al-taqiyya, the Islamist terrorist weapon of
deception.
NASA To Put Muslim's Name On Rocket

Dr. Essam Mohamed Haji, a young researcher
at the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), said
that he received approval from NASA to put Sally Zahran’s name on a
spaceship heading for Mars.
Sally Zahran was mercilessly
clubbed to death during Tahrir demonstrations. Haji said in a
telephone call from his office in California that it is a tradition
in NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory to write names of notable people
on space ships at the request of a NASA staff member or any US
citizen. Haji stressed that he made a request to put martyred
Sally Zahran’s name on the spacecraft in order to honor her.
"This is the least we could provide to Egyptian youth and
revolutionaries. This step represents transferring the dreams
of Egyptian youth from a small stretch of earth to the enormous
expanse of space," said Haji to Al-Mary Al-Youm.
Haji said to Al-Masry Al-Youm that "standing in Tahrir is like
setting foot upon the moon." He likened those standing in
Cairo’s Tahrir Square–a central site for recent protests in Egypt–to
the first man who set foot upon the moon. He said both started
by a dream and changed the world’s view of human potential.
"Today millions of youth are taking the first steps on the path to
freedom with the same courage with which Armstrong stepped upon the
moon for the first time. These young people have been a
subject to marginalization, alienation and repression for over than
30 years. The role of security agents was to protect only the
elite while employing repression against the poor," said Haji.
If this is true, then why isn’t this wonderful news
being trumpeted by our news media in our
country? And where is the rocket named
after Neda Agha-Soltan, and all of the
thousands of martyred Iranian protesters?
(These are rhetorical questions.)

Administration

says if wasting exorbitant amounts of money to support the corrupt
United Nations wasn’t bad enough, Obama has joined a new Arab-based
"international organization" dedicated to promoting renewable energy
worldwide.
That means U.S. taxpayers will supply a big chunk of
the group’s funding in addition to the billions of dollars that already
go to the U.N. each year for programs that, incidentally, already
address renewable energy. As the largest contributors to the U.N.,
American taxpayers forked over $6.3 billion last year and billions more
will be allocated this fiscal year, despite promises from some lawmakers
to slash the cash flow to the scandal-plagued world body.
With
the U.S. national debt topping $14 trillion the last thing the country
needs is a costly membership to yet another world agency promoting a
leftist agenda. Headquartered in the United Arab Emirates, the new
International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) will get a chunk of change
from Uncle Sam -- around $5 million -- to promote renewable energy
technologies that meet the challenges of sustained economic growth,
energy security and climate change. At least that’s how the State
Department explains it.
The Obama Administration is especially
excited that IRENA is the "first truly international organization based
in an Arab country." With its headquarters in Abu Dhabi, the group
claims that it will act as the "global voice for renewable energies" by
facilitating access to all relevant renewable energy information,
economic data and "renewable resource potential data." So far 65
countries have officially joined IRENA, which also has offices in
Austria and Germany.
Two big events are coming up in April at the
group’s headquarters; the "First Session of the Assembly" and the "Fifth
Session of the Preparatory Commission." Those who may wonder what
exactly happens at these very important gatherings should be able to get
an idea by clicking on the agenda, but
it’s not quite ready yet and simply says "coming soon." Maybe
they’re just making it up as they go along. Travel and hotel
information for "delegates" who plan to attend the powwow are up and
running, however.
The Religion Of Peace Marches On
Investors.com
is reporting that Obama's top Muslim envoy has been overseas
encouraging devotion to Islam, including in terror hot spots like
Afghanistan. In fact, Rashad Hussain, U.S. special envoy to the
Organization of the Islamic Conference, just returned from Afghanistan,
where he told locals the antidote to Islamic violence "is Islam itself."
Hussain said during a speech in Kabul:
"I am of the opinion that one of the
strongest tools that you can use to counter radicalization and
violent extremism is Islam itself, because Islam rejects violent
extremism."
Afghans responded to his message by slaughtering a
dozen innocent United Nations workers in the name of Islam.
• Rebels loyal
to Muslim opposition leader Quattara from the north have battled
their way to the main city, Abidjan. There are constant reports of
savage attacks on villages by rebels armed with guns and machetes.
• Thousands of refugees
from the Ivory Coast in Liberia are reporting that the the pro-Quattara
Muslim rebels are killing people and raping women. They are
killing "everyone and anyone." There are even rumors of
cannibalism.
• At least
1,000 Christians were slaughtered last week at the Salesian Saint
Teresa of the Child Jesus mission in Duekoue, Ivory Coast by Muslim
troops loyal to Alassane Ouattara as they worked their way to
Abidjan.
• Hundreds of
thousands of refugees are fleeing their homes and escaping to
neighboring countries.
• The
United Nations and French forces opened fire with attack helicopters
Monday on the arsenal of this country's entrenched ruler (video),
as columns of foot soldiers finally pierced the city limit and
surrounded the strongman's home. UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon
said the attacks were ordered to defend civilians and were not a
declaration of war on Mr Gbagbo.
And, in Libya, American officials have been
straining to make out "flickers" of intelligence suggesting a jihadist
influence in the eastern Libyan rebellion against the rule of Muammar
al-Gaddafi, but French journalist Julien Fouchet,
reporting from eastern Libya, encountered a flagrant jihadist
presence and met with participants who talked openly about their
dedication to jihad and/or their desire to establish an Islamic state.
On the front near the oil-producing town of Brega, for instance,
Fouchet spotted a bearded commander on a sand dune giving orders by
satellite phone. The man wore the traditional robe favored by the
Salafist current of Islamic fundamentalism and had a Kalashnikov slung
over his shoulder. "You can't speak to him," rebel Muslim fighters
told Fouchet. "He is not fighting for Libya. If he is
fighting today, it's for Allah." Fouchet describes seeing imams
driving among the ranks of the rebel fighters in a pick-up truck and
reciting prayers over a loudspeaker.
In England, British
Islamists protested in front of the US Embassy, calling for jihad
against the West (video).
Ironically, the Islamists have adopted the Muslim nickname, "Londonistan,"
for the British capital.
A "Perfect Islamic State"
Aaron Klein is reporting that Dalia Mogahed,
appointed to Obama's White House Advisory Council on Faith-Based and
Neighborhood Partnerships, was a partner in an
Islamic project whose
stated goal was to "define, interpret and implement the concept of the
Islamic State in modern times."
The project was founded and directed by Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf,
the controversial Muslim cleric behind the proposed 13-story, $100
million Islamic cultural center and mosque two blocks from Ground Zero
in New York City.
Besides her role on the White House council,
Mogahed is also on the advisory council of the Department of Homeland
Security. She testified before the Senate on engagement with the Muslim
community.
Together with Rauf, Mogahed was a leading voice in
the Leadership Group on U.S.-Muslim Engagement, which issued a 153-page
recommendation paper, obtained and reviewed by WorldNetDaily, that calls
for dialogue with Hamas.
The consensus focused on improving
America's relationship with Muslims globally, with many of the
recommendations later reportedly being adopted by the Obama
administration. Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright and Dennis
Ross, Obama's Mideast envoy, also served on the Leadership Group that
released the recommendation paper.
The paper specifically called
on the U.S. to engage opposition parties in Egypt, including the Muslim
Brotherhood. It set the boundaries for dialogue with Hamas if the
Islamist terror group renounced violence. Also, the paper called on the
U.S. to immediately engage Hamas using intermediaries in hopes of
moderating the group.
Mogahed, meanwhile, is a senior analyst
and executive director of the Gallup Center for Muslim Studies, where
she led what has been described an unprecedented survey of Muslims
worldwide, including in the U.S. and Europe. The survey was the
basis for a 2008 book she co-authored, "Who Speaks for Islam? What a
Billion Muslims Really Think."
Mogahed's Gallup survey concluded
only 7 percent of the world's Muslims (that's
91,000,000 fanatics -- and that number is extremely conservative) are political radicals and that
the majority support democracy.

Obama Honoree, Common, Is A Muslim
Debbie Schlussel
is reporting that police officers and others are rightfully upset by
Michelle Hussein Obama’s invitation to cop-killer loving rapper Common
to come to the White House, this week, but what press reports are
conveniently omitting is that Common is a practicing Muslim (to which he
eagerly converted) and, while he supports rap’s denigration of women as
"bitches and hos," he has blamed it on churches and Christians.
Yup, this cop-hater whose song praises a Black Panther, Assata Shakur,
who murdered a cop, is a Muslim and is often touted by Muslim groups as
a "model citizen" Muslim in the "arts."
And it’s no coincidence.
Muslims, including the CAIR Action Network, have a strong love affair
with Black Panther cop killers. That’s why CAIR Action Network
continues to campaign for the freedom of H. Rap Brown, a Muslim imam now
known as Jamil Abdullah Al-Amin, who is also a cop killer and former
Black Panther and is currently in prison for that.
I’ve written
about Common before, like when he went on Oprah four years ago, to
praise rap and hip-hop and the genre’s degradation of women as "hos" and
"bitches," something he blamed not on himself and his, um, "colleagues"
in the rap/hip-hop biz, but on White people and "slavery." The
Muslim Common also blamed rap/hip-hop’s treatment of women on Christian
Churches (because, you know, Islam is so liberal in its treatment of
women, right?)
Uh, no. Slavery
ended more than a hundred years ago. Slavery of Blacks continues
mostly only in Islamic nations. The "bitches and hos" thing–just
like the glorification of cop killers and Black Panthers–is a function
of Black culture, where people willingly embrace this stuff. To
blame it on anyone else is baloney. Churches? Puh-leeze.
Churches and synagogues give women far more respect than Common and his
ilk, much less any mosque in America or elsewhere around the world,
accord them.
Oh, and FYI, not only is Common tight with the
Obamas, he is a close friend of Oprah and tennis player Serena Williams,
who is his on-again, off-again concubine. Ask her and her many
tennis sponsors if they agree with his cop-killer love and attacks on
America’s churches and Christians.
Common, a Muslim, is a member
of Trinity United Church of Christ (TUCC), whose ex-Black Muslim
preacher Rev. Jeremiah Wright was the "spiritual mentor" of the
Muslim-at-birth Barack Obama. Here's Common doing his thing,

something you may not know. The Rev. Wright
welcomed Muslims as
members of TUCC.
Usama K. Dakdok, is a
Christian ministry and outreach to the Muslim community, contacted
Obama’s Chicago church, Trinity United Church of Christ, posing as an
Egyptian Muslim interested in joining the church. He had the following
conversation with a church employee: "If I am Muslim and believe in
prophet Muhammed, peace be upon him and I also believe in Jesus, peace
be upon him, do I have to give up my Islamic faith to be a member in
your church?" The Trinity U.C.C. employee responded, "No. We have many
Muslim members in our church." The phone conversation was witnessed by
four other individuals, and he claims he can produce the phone records
to verify this exchange.

Ethical Journalism?
The Constitution Club
is reporting
that after Barack Obama’s speech on the Middle East last week -- in
which Israel and most of its supporters correctly claim he threw Israel
under the bus -- CNN’s Fareed Zakaria heaped praise on the man and the
message. Of course he did -- he probably wrote half the speech -- or at
the very least, had a hand in crafting it.
After CNN’s Eliot
Spitzer revealed last week that Zakaria has been advising Obama on
foreign policy matters, Fareed claimed that he’s simply had
"off-the-record conversations" with Obama on "foreign issues" and that
the whole thing is a misunderstanding. Of course it is Fareed.
Accepting, (for a moment) that Zakaria’s explanation is correct, should
he still not have disclosed that tidbit when he evaluated Obama’s
speech? Of course he should have.
So, who is this guy, Fareed
Zakaria, anyway? In December of last year, we published an article
entitled CNN’s Fareed Zakaria: The American People are the Problem,
in that commented on
Zakaria’s take on America:
"The Chinese are the ones who should be
celebrating Thanksgiving and we should be having a big Mardi Gras
party, but that’s what ‘we’ pick up, a kind of a culture of
over-consumption. The people are the big problem. I
mean, Americans -- everybody wants to say the American people are so
wonderful. You know, I think that when they come to recognize
that they have to make sacrifices too, that it’s not just wasteful
-- they need to have -- they need to recognize that some of what’s
going to happen here is fewer. They have to consume fewer
things. They have to accept higher taxes."
So goes the worldview of Fareed Zakaria. The "real problem" is
the American people; we are spoiled and overindulgent; we must spend
less, accept higher taxes, and stop being so selfish. Is this an
internationalist marriage made in wealth-redistribution heaven, or
what? Barack Obama feels exactly the same way.
The story of Zakaria’s meetings with Obama became a discussion of
journalistic credibility early last week. While the New York Times
article praised Obama for "sounding out prominent journalists like
Zakaria," (of course it did) more objective and credible sources had a
different take:
Should a journalist offer "objective" public
analysis on the policies of a president whom he is advising on the very
topics he is assessing? On his own television program, no less?"
After several internet outlets reported that Zakaria was advising
Obama, Zakaria posted on his website Saturday that those reports were
"inaccurate" and that he simply had some "off-the-record" conversations
with Obama, who had never asked him for advice.
While it follows
that Obama -- Mr. Know-it-all -- doesn’t seem to need advice from anyone
on anything, Zakaria and CNN had a journalistic obligation to disclose
his "off-the-record" conversations with Obama. They would have demanded
no less from Fox News, Sean Hannity and George Bush.
At least the
Keith Olbermanns and Ed Schultzes of the world are honest -- in your
face -- unabashed apologists for Barack Obama and everything he does.
Fareed Zakaria is no such man -- choosing instead to pass himself off as
an objective enlightened intellectual -- the most insidious kind of all.

Obama's Muslim Advisor
CNN's Fareed Zakaria, host of the weekend show
Fareed Zakaria GPS and editor-at-large for Time magazine, admitted on
CNN recently that he has been advising Barack Obama on foreign policy
matters. Zakaria walked this report back later, but
here's the transcript. You decide.
ELIOT SPITZER: Look, I read something
in the paper this week a couple of days ago that actually made me --
you know brought a smile to my face. It said the president of
the United States calls you for wisdom and advice about issues
around the world.
So first, when he calls you, what does he
say? "Hi, Barack calling for Fareed?" What does he do?
FAREED ZAKARIA: Mostly it's been face-to-face meetings.
We first became aware of the influence that Zakaria
was having on Obama via this photo of Obama carrying Zakaria's book,
"The Post-American World"
The Post-American World points to the need for
America to adopt new ways of doing business with the world, one that is
based on "consultation, cooperation, and even compromise" as opposed to
go-it-alone unilateralism. Zakaria argues American success in the 21st century
will depend on how these newly ascendant powers will be integrated into
existing institutions such as the G8, the IMF, the World Bank, and the
WTO.
In other words, it's a One-Worlder's primer on how to hobble
America to help everybody else. How to level the playing field.
How to make it "fair."
Now watch as Zakaria, whose
father was an Islamic scholar, expounds on the US
Constitution and the Founding Fathers:
In this video Zakaria's not advising Obama. He's just confirming
Obama's already
public pronouncements. The Founders are irrelevant and
the Constitution is old fashioned. I particularly noticed
Zakaria's reference to "...this 'New World'."
And
exactly which part the US
Constitution does Zakaria believe is "dysfunctional?"
Freedom of
speech, assembly and the press; the right to bear arms (all statists
hate this one); protection against
unreasonable search and seizure; the right to due process; the right to a
jury, no excessive bail or cruel and unusual punishment; and other rights
that are retained by The People; and powers not listed remaining in the
States.
Zakaria talks about the Constitution needing
change, but if he's so smart then he should know there's a mechanism for that in the Constitution, and
that it has
been exercised 27 times -- on average once every 9 years.
What Zakaria and Obama and the rest of
them really mean is that they want the Constitution to be "flexible."
To be interpretable. What they really want is another set of laws.
The question is, if Obama and Zakaria
don't want the "People's law," do the want a tyrant's law, or
Sharia
law?
Obama's Faith Adviser Addresses Radical Muslim
Group
Aaron Klein is reporting that Obama's faith adviser, Eboo Patel,
spoke this past weekend at the main event of a 3-day convention held by
the Muslim Students Association, or
MSA, a controversial group founded by the
Muslim Brotherhood.
Patel appeared on a panel alongside Tariq Ramadan, grandson of the
notorious founder of the Muslim Brotherhood, and Siraj Wahhaj, who was
named as a possible co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center
bombing. Wahhaj has also defended the convicted WTC bomb plotters and
has urged the Islamic takeover of America.
The MSA event was part
of a larger weekend convention in which several U.S. Islamic groups held
a series of speaking engagements. The convention was arranged by the
Islamic Society of North America, itself an unindicted
co-conspirator in a scheme to raise money for Hamas.
Patel was
featured on a panel at what was billed as the main session of both the
MSA and ISNA conventions. The session was titled, "I took the Road Less
Traveled by, and that has made all the Difference."
A description
of the panel by the ISNA website states, "We live in a society in which
immersion is encouraged and in which we are often confronted with evil.
Muslims have always been challenged, but Islam is a guiding star that
can help us overcome these challenges as we strive to remain faithful.
We must remain confident and unified as we make our short journey
through this life. And sometimes, we must be 'strangers.'"
Panel participants with Patel were Ramadan, Wahhaj, and Islamic
author Yasir Qadhi.
Ramadan's maternal grandfather was Hasan al-Banna,
who in 1928 founded the Muslim Brotherhood. Osama bin Laden routinely
referred to al-Banna in al-Qaida doctrine. Ramadan's father, Said
Ramadan, led the Brotherhood throughout the 1950s and then was exiled
from Egypt to Switzerland .
Wahhaj is an African American convert
to Islam via the Nation of Islam.
He repeatedly urged the U.S. to
accept Islamic law. Discover the Networks notes Wahajj in 1991 predicted
America will fall unless it "accepts the Islamic agenda."
The
next year, he stated, "Hear what I'm telling you well. The Americans are
not your friends … The Canadians are not your friends … The Europeans
are not your friends. Your friend is Allah, the Messenger and those who
believe."
Also, in a 1992 address to an audience of Muslims in
New Jersey, Wahhaj expressed his desire to replace the U.S. government
with an Islamic caliphate. "If we were united and strong," Wahhaj said,
"we'd elect our own emir [leader] and give allegiance to him…. [T]ake my
word, if 6-8 million Muslims unite in America , the country will come to
us."
In 1995, Wahhaj was named by U.S. Attorney Mary Jo White as
a possible co-conspirator to the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center.
He objected to that designation, noting in his defense that he had eaten
"dinner with Secretary of State [Madeleine] Albright -- after the list"
of co-conspirators had been released.

in the summer of 1999, Wahhaj testified as a character witness for
convicted terror mastermind Sheikh Omar Abdel-Rahman. Wahhaj stated, on
the record, that he considered it an honor to have had an opportunity to
host Abdel-Rahman at his mosque, describing the latter as a "respected
scholar … bold … [and] a strong preacher of Islam."
Arif Alikahn, Former Department of Homeland Security
Assistant Secretary for Policy Development: Now a Distinguished Visiting
Professor of DHS and Counterterrorism at the National Defense
University, Alikahn also served as Deputy Mayor for Public Safety for
the City of Los Angeles where he reportedly
derailed the LAPD’s efforts to
monitor the city’s Muslim community -- particularly its radical mosques
and madrassas where certain 9/11 hijackers were said to have received
support. He is affiliated with MPAC, which has called the terrorist
group Hezbollah a "liberation movement."
Salam al-Marayati, Founder and Executive Director of
Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC): Marayati is an Iraqi immigrant who
drew national attention over a decade ago when then-House Democratic
Leader Richard Gephardt nominated him to serve on the National
Commission on Terrorism. Backlash over al-Marayati’s defense of
Hezbollah and other Islamic groups prompted a withdrawal of the
nomination. The Center for Security Policy
reports that MPAC was formed in 1986 as the Political Action
Committee for the Islamic Center for Southern California, one of the
largest Wahhabi mosques in the country. While MPAC later fractioned-off,
one of the founders of the Islamic Center, Hassan Hathout, was a senior
member of the Muslim Brotherhood who also spent time in Egyptian prison.
Mohamed Elibiary, Homeland Security Advisory Committee
Member: He is the former president of the Freedom and Justice
Foundation, which was billed to "promote a Centrist Public Policy
environment in Texas by coordinating the state level government and
interfaith community relations for the organized Texas Muslim
community." He
spoke at a 2004 conference in Dallas praising the "Great Islamic

uncovered that Hussain spoke at a conference sponsored by the Muslim
Brotherhood affiliate, the Association of Muslim Social Scientists. An
internal Brotherhood document dubbed the Social Scientists as one of
"our organizations and the organizations of our friends." Hussain also
spoke at the Prince Alwaleed Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding
of Georgetown University, which reportedly receives Saudi funding and is
directed by Muslim Brotherhood advocate, John Esposito. In 2004, Hussain
also participated in the Muslim Students Association’s annual
conference, a group founded by the Muslim Brotherhood and known as one
of its front-groups. The report also asserts that many of the Student
Associations’ nearly 600 college chapters "have engaged in extremism and
the group closely collaborates with the other Brotherhood fronts."
