| Nagging Questions Remain |
Did Obama actually ever register with
the Selective Service? If so, did he register late? If he
registered at all, which birth certificate did he present? Would
the COLB shown during the 2008 presidential campaign have been enough?
The Sonoran News has stated that "It became obvious
records
were created after the fact for Obama and were later changed."
Why has this image
been made available to the public through FOIA requests, but his birth
certificate, college records, school records, medical records, and
passport records have not?
Was an amendment to Obama’s Selective
Service file made in 1991 or not?
Why are there two different
DLNs for the same SS record?
Why was the record accessed on
September 9, 2008, two days after Obama appeared on national TV during
the campaign discussing his registration with the Selective Service?
Could any FOIA requests resulting from the television interview already
have been received at that time by Mr. Flahavan’s office? Was
someone trying to cover for Obama and therefore accessed his file soon
after his public misstatement of fact?

Draft
Registration Lie |
Debbie Schussle
wants to know if President-elect Barack Hussein Obama committed a
federal crime in September of this year?
Did he never actually
register and, instead, did friends of his in the Chicago federal records
center, which maintains the official copy of his alleged Selective
Service registration commit the crime for him?
It's either one or the other, as indicated by the release of Barack
Obama's official Selective Service registration for the draft. A friend
of mine, who is a retired federal agent, spent almost a year trying to
obtain this document through a Freedom of Information Act request, and,
after much stonewalling, finally received it and released it to me.
But the release of Obama's draft registration and an accompanying
document, posted below, raises more questions than it answers. And it
shows many signs of fraud, not to mention putting the lie to Obama's
claim that he registered for the draft in June 1979, before it was
required by law.

Questions |
| Sharp-eyed Lexie made this observation. Obama's
signatures are different on his allegedly
counterfeit Selective Service Registration and his
Statement of Candidacy. Imagine that?

Selective Service Registration

Candidacy Form
Since the Selective Service Registration form contains a forged signature,
then Obama is in violation of the Selective Service Act. Penalties
for Failure to Register for the Draft:
• Men who do not register could be
prosecuted and, if convicted, fined up to $250,000 and/or serve up to
five years in prison. In addition, men who fail to register with
Selective Service before turning age 26, even if not prosecuted, will
become ineligible for:
• Student Financial Aid -- including
Pell Grants, College Work Study, Guaranteed Student/Plus Loans, and
National Direct Student Loans.
• U.S. Citizenship -- if the man first
arrived in the U.S. before his 26th birthday.
• Federal Job Training -- The Job
Training Partnership Act (JTPA) offers programs that can train young men
for jobs in auto mechanics and other skills. This program is only open
to those men who register with Selective Service.
• Federal Jobs -- men born after
December 31, 1959 must be registered to be eligible for jobs in the
Executive Branch* of the Federal
government and the U.S. Postal Service.
In addition, several states have added additional penalties for those
who fail to register.
* Last time I checked, the President
is a member of the Executive Branch, and Obama was definitely born after
12/31/1959. If that isn't his signature, he's NOT ELIGIBLE!
Thanks to all of you who contributed samples of
Obama's signature. After viewing a dozen or so samples, this
signature, posted at Wikipedia and the one on the Candidacy Form,
appears to be the "real deal."
Several readers have made the observation that signatures change over
time, and that is true. However, the draft registration form above
has been demonstrated to be counterfeit, so the question is, who
prepared and signed this forgery, and how did they get it into the
Selective Service Data Center? |
| A Bogus Report? |
|
In 2008, allegations surfaced on a number of
websites to the effect that Obama had forged his Selective Service
Registration form. This was based on the charge the
document in question was created in 1990 not 1980, the postal date stamp
had incorrect information on it, and there were allegedly a number of
other minor discrepancies with the document. The
source of much of this info was a retired Federal Agent who served with
the INS.
The allegations were stunning and the story was
repeated all over the internet. Indeed, I even
referred to these allegations in a story I wrote for the Western Journalism
Center. For whatever
reason, I soon began to become suspicious of the story as the ability to
forge a Selective Service document a decade later is very difficult to
believe due to numerous procedural and legal obstacles.
Since I happen to know the former director of the
Selective Service who served under Ronald Reagan, I decided to dig into
this issue to see if these allegations held up. Sure enough, what I
discovered was sloppy
research and over-reaching conclusions. Indeed, the
story falls apart when one does the most elementary research.
There’s no doubt I would love to hammer Obama for forging a
federal document but we must let the facts speak for themselves.
The reader needs to review both sources and decide
for themselves.

| No Identification -- Again |
BirtherReport.com
reports that according to the law, Barack Obama was required to
register for the Selective Service and he had to present proper
identification, which he did not. You will see from the form that
the "No ID" box is check marked.
Therefore, Obama DID NOT comply with
the law, which is as follows: Proclamation
4771–Registration Under the Military Selective Service Act -- source:
The provisions of Proclamation 4771 of July 2, 1980, appear at 45 FR
45247, 3 CFR, 1980 Comp., p. 82, unless otherwise noted.
1-3. Manner of Registration.
1-301.
Persons who are required to be registered shall comply with the
registration procedures and other rules and regulations prescribed
by the Director of Selective Service.
1-302. When reporting
for registration each person shall present for inspection reasonable
evidence of his identity. After registration, each person shall keep
the Selective Service System informed of his current address.
Obama's lack of ID, as indicated on the Selective
Service Registration Form makes me wonder what type of ID Obama had at
the time he actually registered for the Selective Service. Did he
have a driver's license? If he did, what documentation, e.g. birth
certificate, social security card, etc., did he present to get his
Driver's license? I know my DMV marks down what type of
identification I bring in to verify my identity. Could the DMV be
another avenue to obtain information on Obama?
I don't know
whether or not the Selective Service Registration Form is a forgery.
It appears that Obama registered the date/month/year he was suppose to
register. The SS Proclamation outlines the requirements for males
born in 1960 and 1961 and it appears that Obama did comply.
However, Obama did not comply with "each person SHALL present for
inspection reasonable evidence of his identity." SHALL means MUST!
Could Obama's non-compliance make him
ineligible to hold public office. If this is the case, then
the birth certificate and/or dual citizenship may not even matter.
Obama would have never been eligible to hold any public office.
So the real question is, did Obama willfully withhold documentation that
would verify his identity?
Whatever the case, the Selective
Service must have additional written documentation on Obama in a special
Selective Service file pertaining to his 1H Classification.
Therefore, is it worth a visit to the Local Selective Service Board in
Hawaii, or could these files be obtained through an FOIA request?
I just have a "nagging gut feeling" that there is something more to
this and no one has bothered to investigate. Looking into it just
might yield some valuable information. |
| U.S. Selective Service In Obama Cover-Up? |
Joe Kovacs
says that members of the public searching the federal database for
Obama's registration
are suddenly finding new difficulty, possibly due to the startling
revelation of his alleged
use of a Connecticut-based Social Security Number.
The
Selective Service System, or SSS, collects names of Americans for use by
the Department of Defense in the event of a national emergency. On
its website, it says it provides the nation "with a structure and a
system of guidelines which will provide the most prompt, efficient, and
equitable draft possible, if the country should need it."
Regarding Obama, "He is registered. There is no doubt in our minds
that he has, and we're quite prepared to say so," SSS public-affairs
specialist Dan Amon said, but the agency's online search engine now
appears to be precluding the public from seeing Obama's record after
allowing unfettered access.
The database allows people to search
for registrants as long as a correct name, Social Security Number and
date of birth are entered.
On May 5, WorldNetDaily entered the
criteria for Obama, using his date of birth as Aug. 4, 1961, and his
Social Security Number, which begins with the Connecticut-issued prefix
of 042. The Selective Service database instantly issued a "matched
record" without a problem that day, indicating Obama's Selective
Service Number is 61-1125539-1. It lists date of registration as
Sept. 4, 1980.
However, when the same information was re-entered
on May 20, and the database did not provide the matched record, but
instead posted a
message, stating, "Error. Sorry, your request cannot be
processed at this time because you have exceeded the daily limit for the
verification of these credentials."
The Selective Service was
asked what was causing the sudden problem in retrieving records, and
Amon said it's likely because many people across the nation are now
searching for Obama's records. "If you run into problems, others
have, too," he said. Amon says a hacking attempt several years ago
prompted the agency to beef up security to prevent future electronic
attacks. He initially said the agency created a limit of three
verification requests per day for any given record. "If someone in
Omaha, Neb., does it on a whim, then someone in Ohio does it, then
that's two times."
He said when more than three requests are
submitted -- no matter where they're entered from -- people would see
the error message noting the daily limit has been exceeded. "It's like
20 people trying to crowd into a doorway," Amon explained. "If
nobody else in the world is doing it, if you punch it in the format
suggested, [you get good results]; but if others try, then it will shut
it down."
However, when valid information was repeatedly entered
for another American registrant, it received a matched record without
any error message despite dozens of requests in the same day.
Amon later indicated his statement about the limit of three was "more of
a guess." He said he checked with the information-technology
department about the limit, and admitted, "They got a little edgy."
"They just didn't want to answer it," Amon said, explaining the IT
administrators did not wish to "divulge specifics of the system." |
