Obama, You're Fired

Trump Wants The Birth Certificate

Whether you are a fan of The Donald, or not, he handles the harpies on The View masterfully.  Although Trump has some interesting things to say, the good stuff starts at the 5:25 minute mark.  Use the slider.
Trump Won't Back Off
Jim Meyers and Ashley Martella says Donald Trump is not backing down from his demand that Barack Obama produce his birth certificate and stepped up his criticism by questioning why he has not released other personal records, including college transcripts and legislative papers.

The billionaire real estate tycoon and star of "The Apprentice" created a stir on Wednesday when he said on "The View" (video)  that Obama must release his birth certificate.

Now Trump has reiterated his call in an exclusive interview with Newsmax.TV, with this simple message for Obama: Why don't you produce your birth certificate and put to rest all speculation that you were born outside the United States?

He says Obama's birth certificate controversy is a "strange situation" -- there are conflicting reports as to what Honolulu hospital he was born at, and the governor of Hawaii claims he somehow remembers Obama being born 50 years ago.

"It's a very simple situation," Trump says in regard to the birth certificate issue.  "I'd just like to see his birth certificate.

"I'm hearing all sorts of stories that his own family can't agree which hospital he was born in and lots of other things, and I'm trying to find out where is the birth certificate.  I have a birth certificate.  Where is his birth certificate?

"If you're born in this country, to the best of my knowledge people have a birth certificate."

There's more here . . .
Trump Doubles Down

Donald Trump doubled down last night.  The bombastic conservative business leader told Geraldo Rivera, "I don't want to be right on this issue... I just want to see his birth certificate."  Trump also said his conservative friends told him to drop the issue but that he believes it is too important.
Here's Mine.  Where's Yours?
Andy Barr says Donald Trump now sees himself as something of a patron saint for the Birthers -- and he's even released his own birth certificate as he steps up criticism of Obama.

Seeking to pump more energy into the Birther movement and quirky chase for the White House, Trump on Monday provided a copy of his birth certificate to the conservative website NewsMax -- which has played a leading role in trumpeting Birther mythology.

And in an interview on Fox News, Trump cast himself as something akin to the rebel leader of the Birther movement.

"Now, this guy either has a birth certificate or he doesn't," Trump said.  "And I didn't think this was such a big deal, but I will tell you, it's turning out to be a very big deal because people now are calling me from all over saying, please don't give up on this issue."

Trump's insistence that he's being encouraged to continue on his Birther crusade has led to what he says is the startling revelation that, "all of a sudden, a lot of facts are emerging and I'm starting to wonder myself whether or not [Obama] was born in this country."

Trump also called for Hawaii Democratic Gov. Neil Abercrombie to be investigated for stating that he -- as a friend of Obama's parents -- remembers Obama's birth.

"I think this guy should be investigated," Trump said.  "I doubt it.  He remembers when Obama was born?  Give me a break!  He's just trying to do something for his party."

Trump Turns Up The Heat

"To be honest with you, I want him to have a birth certificate," Trump said, "because [otherwise] that would mean that his presidency was, I guess you'd have to say, illegal.  You have to be born in the United States.  I hope that he was born in the United States.  I hope -- but I want to get rid of the word hope, I want to know for sure -- I hope that he was born in the United States and I hope this doesn't become a big issue."

I'd prefer to see Trump attacking on the "born British" issue, but he certainly is getting a lot of traction with this campaign of his.

The ObamaMedia must be organizing a counter-attack to blunt Trump now.  They can't let him go on unchallenged.  There will be one.  I am curious to know what it will be.
Politico's Ben Smith Boots It
Politico's Ben Smith, a long-time foe of Birthers, wrote an article proclaiming, "Trump fails to produce birth certificate," in which he writes:  Donald Trump made headlines earlier today when he provided what he said was a copy of his birth certificate -- but a quick check reveals it's actually not an official document.

The paper that Trump released says "Jamaica Hospital" on top and lists the date and time of what he says was his birth to "Mr. and Mrs. Fred C. Trump."  The piece of paper has a seal at the bottom.

But after several New York City-based readers contacted POLITICO's Maggie Haberman, her call to city officials revealed that an actual birth certificate, which is issued by the Department of Health, would have the agency's seal and also a signature of the city registrar -- neither of which the Trump document has.  Officials said the city Health Department is the "sole issuing authority" of official birth certificates in New York, and that the document would clearly say so, and "city officials said it's not an official document."

It appears instead to be a hospital "certificate of birth," meaning the piece of paper the hospital gave to his family saying he was born.  Such a document typically has the signature of the hospital administrator and the attending physician.

Trump lawyer and advisor Michael Cohen didn't respond to Haberman's question about the document.

Trump's mother, it should be noted, was born in Scotland, which is not part of the United States.  His plane is registered in the Bahamas, also a foreign country.  This fact pattern -- along with the wave of new questions surrounding what he claims is a birth certificate -- raises serious doubts about his eligibility to serve as President of the United States.

Gullible Smith makes the key Birther arguments in his criticism of Trump:

"an actual birth certificate, which is issued by the Department of Health, would have the agency's seal and also a signature of the city registrar"

"Trump's mother, it should be noted, was born in Scotland...raises serious doubts about his eligibility to serve as President of the United States."

The document the Obama campaign first posted, and which
is still posted on FightTheSmears.com has no seal, or signature.

Trump's mother was "
naturalized" on March 10, 1942.  She was an American citizen at the time of The Donald's birth.  Therefore, Trump was born in the US of A and had two American citizen parents.  He meets the Article II, Section I, Clause 5 requirements for eligibility.

Obama's alleged father, was a foreigner, in Hawaii on a student visa.  He passed his status as a Kenyan citizen, and British subject onto his alleged son, Barry Soebarkah Barak Hussein Obama II.

Oh, and here is The Donald's "actual birth certificate" -- click to enlarge.

The Donald IS eligible.

All the Obot Smith accomplished in writing this article was making the Birthers' point.  Obama has NOT released his "actual birth certificate" and REMAINS ineligible because he was born a British subject.

What Is Donald Trump Hiding?
The Smoking Gun says multimillionaire developer has, overnight, become a leading voice of the “birther” movement, members of which doubt that President Barack Obama was born in the United States (and, thus, is unable to produce an authentic U.S. birth certificate).

“It’s inconceivable that, after four years of questioning, the president still hasn’t produced his birth certificate,” Trump told Newsmax. “I’m just asking President Obama to show the public his birth certificate. Why’s he making an issue out of this?" To prove how easy it was for a household employee to find his birth certificate, Trump, 64, crowed, “It took me one hour to get my birth certificate.”

As seen above, he provided the conservative web site with what he purports to be his birth certificate.

Except the document is not an official New York City birth certificate, but rather a document generated by Jamaica Hospital, where Trump’s mother Mary reportedly gave birth in June 1946. Official birth certificates are issued (and maintained) by the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene’s Office of Vital Records.

So, what is Trump trying to conceal?

On a possibly related note, Jamaica Hospital has been the recipient of significant financial largesse from the Trump family. In fact, the Queens institution includes the Trump Pavilion, a nursing and rehabilitation facility that was named for Mary Trump.

[If The Donald wants to hunt in his sock drawer for the official birth certificate, he should look for a document that includes an official Department of Health stamp and resembles city forms like ones used decades ago, like this or this.]

The Smoking Gun dropped this one real, real fast . . .
Trump Trumps Critics
ABC News is reporting that real estate magnate and U.S. reality television host Donald Trump Tuesday produced a grainy microfilm reproduction of his "Official," long-form, New York City birth certificate.

The image of his New York birth certification was released to ABC News a day after political pundits noted the birth document "the Donald" produced Monday from a hospital in Queens was apparently less than official.

Trump set them up beautifully.  He released his short-form birth certificate, and the ObamaMedia pounced.  Proof that they KNOW Obama's short-form birth certificate is not acceptable.

Then he realesed his long-form birth certificate.

Now let's see if the ObamaMedia will demand Obama's long-form birth certificate?

Crickets!
Trump Casts Obama As An Impostor
Daniel Keylin says Donald Trump appeared on the Laura Ingraham Show (audio), discussing the controversy he has generated in recent days over his comments regarding Barack Obama's birth certificate.

The billionaire also suggested that Bill Ayers, not Obama was the real author of the 1995 memoir "Dreams of My Father."

Trump cited a noticeable difference in the writing quality between "Dreams of My Father" and Obama's 2006 policy-centered book,"The Audacity of Hope," which Trump said "was written by a guy that's like a sophomore in high school."

"They say "Dreams of My Father' was genius and they give him full credit, and now it's coming out that Bill Ayers wrote it…that's what started him on this road where he became president," Trump said.

Last week, The DC's Jonathan Strong reported that Republican strategist Roger Stone and pollster John McLaughlin believe Trump's recent "Birther" claims are part of a concerted strategy to woo conservatives in the lead-up to a possible 2012 presidential run.

Stone originally told the Politico in February that he had spoken to Trump several times and was told he was seriously considering a presidential run.

On Wednesday, the Politico reported that Trump is currently in talks with veteran GOP pollster Tony Fabrizio, just as other potential candidates are in the midst of hiring staffers and strategists.

Trump certainly didn't give any indication he was backing off the "Birther" strategy on Wednesday.

"I don't know why he can't get a birth certificate," Trump told Ingraham, declaring himself to be a proud "Birther."

He also cast suspicion over the authenticity of a 1961 newspaper ad Obama's family placed in the Honolulu Advertiser that announced his birth, telling Ingraham, "an ad like that could have been staged.  I don't mean staged at the time, I mean it could have been computer-generated five years ago, eight years ago, two years ago."

Trump suggested that ads announcing births are rare, noting that, "the Rockefeller family doesn't buy ads in a newspaper, now you're going to have two poor people putting an ad in a newspaper that their son was born?  There's something fishy about the whole thing."

Sisyphus Stone
James says Donald Trump has changed everything.  Right now O’BigEars finds himself standing naked at ocean edge as the tide pulls out for a major tsunami.  He is Sisyphus pushing the stone up the slope and the slope is getting steeper.  This dilemma can be such a crush forcing a complete reevaluation and possible resignation.  For me, such an attitude can be a one-way ticket to the psych-ward; but remember the verse, "woe comes not in single form it comes in swarms." (Shakespeare).  Donald Trump, "I’m a smart guy" attitude has moved his personal belief from believing Barack "Barry" O’BabyCakes was "probably" born in the United States to the "possible" being the case.  Confronting cretins like Whoopie Goldberg, he bravely broadcasts his grounded reasoning using every major media outlet to do it.  This stuff is an earthquake beneath the card castle which is Obama.

There are four types of background statements; first, the resume which is a copulation of education, training, and situational employment; second is the curriculum vitae which designates professional school education, fellowships, honors, and pertinent advanced degrees with applied employment and chronicle of publications; third is the "bio" used most frequently to explain the backgrounds of members and their skill applications within an organizational chart.  The last, and most inclusive, is the dossier which investors and stakeholders require to comply with their pre-conditioned investment requirements.  It is impossible for me to fathom a Warren Buffett, Lloyd Blankfein at Goldman Sachs or Bill Gates from Microsoft giving a tinker’s ding to some blank slate, even with a Harvard Law sheepskin, called Barack so there must be some document out there somewhere that tells the full story revealing everything from his birth to schools, lovers, joys, tears and blood type.  Corporate Board of Directors hire private investigators like Kroll International to dig deep getting all the data about an investment prospect, anything less would be considered malfeasance so the notion O’BingoGame slipped through the cracks as an unknown without full documentation is just thinking for children.

The theory, from Jack Cashill's Deconstructing Obama, is that the former Chicago Tribune wonk David Axelrod, scoured and scrubbed all detrimental information regarding Barry O’BottleRocket fearful the truth would do what the truth always does; that being, toss that false popinjay into the dung heap of history.  To protect his precious pearl, Ax has used every means possible to guard the jewel.  Being an image obsessed Svengali he’s gone to his well tuned Astroturf extremes; which means, his Rolodex filled with polluted public media spikes that he knows can shoot and draw blood; but now, it is his protégé’ that he finds bleeding at the seams.  He thinks, his image busting success attacking Sarah Palin will work against super wealthy deep-pockets Donald Trump which is why the jig is up and the reason the Sisyphus stone will out weigh the strength and fall crushing Barack O’BedBug like the gnat which he really is.

Axelrod turned the term "Birthers" into something synonymous with being stupid and bumpkin and now that the table has turned on him it is he that’s the one looking none too bright.  My impression of Axelrod is that of someone very cruel and mean.  I can see him wearing a polished hat with golden fleece matched by a well tailored field frock with braids bandoliers with riding crop pointing at the process of peasant partisans being hanged.  For some realm of ethereal metaphysical reasoning there apparently are some zodiac star charts that result in people like Axelrod becoming authoritarian monsters as the way it is because his personal hubris runs wild and places him in some make-believe high court of perceived royalty where he can live and operate above the law.

"Did I Hit A Nerve?"

Obama, Donald Trump, and the Collective Unconscious
Robin of Berkeley says There is a fascinating concept in Jungian psychology called the "collective unconscious."  While the "personal unconscious" stores our own unique memories, the "collective unconscious" is the reservoir for an entire culture.

It's amazing how certain people and phenomena find their way into the collective unconscious, whether intentionally or not.  For instance, take the term, "googling."  Those young Stanford dudes didn't realize that they would not only change the nature of Internet searching, they'd add a new word into the vocabulary.  People may choose to search via Bing or Yahoo, but nobody "bings."  So why did googling sweep the nation?  Perhaps Google is a superior search engine.  But it may simply come down to being in the right place at the right time.

There are people who become overnight sensations, both for good and nefarious reasons.  Back in the 60's, everyone was familiar with those evil people who comprised the Manson Family.  And when Joe the Plumber asked Obama a question, he was suddenly famous (and subject to government investigations).  While very few people outside of Alaska heard of Sarah Palin a few years ago, she became a household name as soon as she entered the national arena.

And then there's the "Birther" controversy.  The progressives have controlled and framed the concept right from the get-go.  This has been one of the many issues (including "tea baggers") that the left has seized upon to tar conservatives.

The left has painted "Birthers" as racists, nuts, and paranoids.  What gets left out of the equation is: one, Obama has spent millions of dollars on attorneys protecting his birth certificate; two, Obama apparently traveled to Pakistan in 1981 when Americans were warned from going there; and three, Obama's social security number is purportedly from Connecticut, a state in which he never lived.

[ And that's just the tip of the iceberg ]

Although there are valid questions about the mysterious Mr. O, until lately, it's been impossible to get the average American to listen.  This is because the left is so much better at controlling what enters the collective unconscious.  Of course, the left controls the flow of ideas by maintaining a stranglehold on the mainstream media.  But there's another reason: the left subscribes to Alinsky-type smear tactics.

Progressives will call their opponents a "tea bagger" even though the phrase is sexually explicit and lewd.  They'll allow Bill Maher and other amoral types to verbally rape conservative women.  Conservatives don't follow suit because these below-the-belt tactics are anathema.  While conservatives don't have to practice gutter politics, we do need our message to penetrate the collective unconscious.  Enter the intrepid Donald Trump.

Trump has been beating the drum lately about Obama's birth certificate -- and the lack thereof.  Trump has also been wondering whether there's something else on Obama's birth certificate (who's his daddy?) that Obama doesn't want anyone to know.  Fortunately for conservatives, when Donald Trump talks, people listen.

And this is why Trump needs to keep raising the birth certificate issue.  He shouldn't stop even when the left ridicules him.  I hope that he expands his mission to include the salient question of whether unrepentant domestic terrorist Bill Ayers penned Obama's autobiography.  We need a magnetic figure like Trump going where no man or woman has been able to go.

Because if Trump keeps putting the heat on Obama, something amazing may happen.  Rather than Obama and his henchmen continually putting conservatives on the defensive, we may finally see the reverse.

People may start getting nervous about Obama and pay attention to the cracks in the facade.  Their concerns may leak into the collective unconscious and take root, as surely as did the concept of "googling."  If people start questioning who is this mystery man in the White House, they may feel less comfortable pulling the lever for him in November 2012.
"It's An Incredible Conspiracy!"

During a phone interview with Donald Trump, about Obama's birth certificate, Trump stated, "it's not that much of a conspiracy, it's very simple", but, Chuck Todd, the Chief White House Correspondent for NBC News, exclaimed, "It's an incredible conspiracy!"

Todd, who really works out on his imaginary prayer beads, is correct.  "It's an incredible conspiracy" -- and the conspirators are Team Obama.
Trump:  "I Have Investigators In Hawaii"
Time magazine is reporting this exchange between NBC's Meredith Vierra and Donald Trump:

Vierra:  Do you think given all the issues that this country is facing that this is something that resonates with the public?  That they care about this?

Trump:  The Constitution of the United States…great document.  And you agree with it?

Vierra:  Yeah, sure.

Trump:  It says you have to be born in this country.  Essential. Have to be born in this country, okay?  If he (Obama) wasn't born in this country, he has conned the whole world.

Vierra:  But you're saying it's a con.  That's what you're saying.

Trump:  I'm not saying anything.  I'm saying--

Vierra:  Sure you are.

Trump:  I am saying I want to see the birth certificate.  It's very simple. I want to see the birth certificate.  How come his own family doesn't know which hospital he was born in?  How come -- forget about birth certificates.  Let's say there's no birth certificate.  How come in the hospital itself, okay?  This is one of the…in the hospital itself, there's no records of his birth.  In other words, it doesn't say how much they paid, where is the doctor, here's your room bill.  You know, all the

Vierra:  You've been privy to all of this to know this?

Trump:  Well, I have people that actually have been studying it and they cannot believe what they're talking.

Vierra:  You have people now out there searching -- I mean, in Hawaii?

Trump:  Absolutely.  And they cannot believe what they're finding.  And I'm serious.

Arizona lawmakers OK "Birther" bill requiring documents to get on ballot

I would love to have been a fly on the wall when the conspirators in the White House received this news.
Arizona "Birther" Lawmaker Meeting With Trump
Maggie Haberman is reporting that an Arizona state lawmaker who's backing a bill to force presidential candidates to prove their constitutional qualifications says he is meeting with current King of the Birthers, Donald Trump, on Friday at his Manhattan office tower.

State Rep. Carl Seel, backer of HB2177 -- a bill that has been moving through the state legislature in Arizona -- plans to meet with Trump to talk about his piece of legislation, which would require a "certified birth certificate" for presidential candidates appearing on the ballot starting next year.

A Trump aide couldn't immediately be reached to confirm the meeting.

But it would come a day after an interview with Trump aired on the "Today" show in which he said he has investigators on the ground in Hawaii rummaging through the questions he has about Obama's birth.

Trump has put the "Birther" issue into the mainstream press in a way that hasn't happened in the past two years, in just three weeks of TV interviews.
CNN Defends Obama

This woman didn't interview Trump, she used him as a prop to repeat all of the absurd Obot talking points that we've been hearing for over three years.

Obots are panicked by Trump's Birther campaign.  The ObamaMedia is going to come at him hard.  I hope he's ready.  I do know he needs to do some homework.
The ObamaMedia Counter-Attacks
In this video  ABC's John Berman repeats the same tired propaganda while waving around the same old bogus documents, saying:

"Indeed, several non-partisan watchdog groups long-ago determined this certificate provided by then-candidate Obama definitively proves that Obama was born in Hawaii in 1961."

No, John, it doesn't, and Snopes and FactCheck.org are many things -- non-partisan not being one of them.

And ABC has disabled embedding -- they want to be able to scrub this baby and don't want any copies floating around.  They also disabled comments -- they don't want to be called out on their blatant propagandizing.
Donald Trump Responds To The New York Times
To the Editor:

Re "Donald Trump Gets Weirder," by Gail Collins (column, April 2):

Even before Gail Collins was with the New York Times, she has written nasty and derogatory articles about me.  Actually, I have great respect for Ms. Collins in that she has survived so long with so little talent.  Her storytelling ability and word usage (coming from me, who has written many bestsellers), is not at a very high level.  More importantly, her facts are wrong!

As far as her comments on the so-called "Birther" issue, I don't need Ms. Collins's advice.  There is a very large segment of our society who believe that Barack Obama, indeed, was not born in the United States.  His grandmother from Kenya stated, on tape, that he was born in Kenya and she was there to watch the birth.  His family in Honolulu is fighting over which hospital in Hawaii he was born in-they just don't know.

He has not been able to produce a "birth certificate" but merely a totally unsigned "certificate of live birth" -- which is totally different and of very little significance.  Unlike a birth certificate, a certificate of live birth is very easy to obtain.  Equally of importance, there are no records in Hawaii that a Barack Hussein Obama was born there -- no bills, no doctors names, no nurses names, no registrations, no payments, etc.  As far as the two notices placed in newspapers, many things could have happened, but some feel the grandparents put an ad in order to show that he was a citizen of the U.S. with all of the benefits thereto.  Everybody, after all, and especially then, wanted to be a United States citizen.

The term used by Ms. Collins -- "Birther" -- is very derogatory and is meant in a derogatory way.  Had this been George Bush or almost any other President or Presidential aspirant, they would never have been allowed to attain office, or would have been thrown out of office very quickly.

For some reason, the press protects President Obama beyond anything or anyone I have ever seen.  What they don't realize is that if he was not born in the United States, they would have uncovered the greatest "scam" in the history of our country.  In other words, they would become the hottest writer since Watergate, or beyond.

Open your eyes, Gail, there's chance that Barack Hussein Obama has made mincemeat out of our great and cherished Constitution!

DONALD J. TRUMP
New York, April 7, 2011
"It Couldn’t Have Gone Any Better"
Sharon Rondeau says a source who attended the meeting with Donald Trump at the Trump Tower in New York City yesterday morning said that "It couldn’t have gone any better."

Citizen Reporter:  Trump gave them a little over 30 minutes.  WorldNetDaily had been patched in somehow and apparently had been privy to what was going on.  Also, there were a lot of media outside in the hallway, but none was allowed into the meeting.  The only people in the meeting were Trump, (Michael D.) Cohen, and the three people from Arizona.

The Post & Email:  Who were the people who came from Arizona?

Citizen Reporter:   Rep. Carl Seel, Jeff, and Kelly, who represented a TEA Party group.  I was told that Trump didn’t seem to know about the "natural born Citizen" issue at all.  He gave Jeff homework by saying, "I want to know everything about 'natural born' citizen, and I want to know about these reports from Kenya when members of the Kenyan Parliament had talked about Obama having been born there."  Trump was very, very familiar with the tape from the grandmother; he actually quoted from it verbatim.  But he wanted people to gather more information and get it to him.

The Post & Email:  I included the statements made by the Parliament members in my letter to Mr. Trump.

Citizen Reporter:  Yes, right.  He has made a pledge that he will go to Arizona in the summer.  He fully supports the Arizona eligibility bill and throws his weight behind that.  He is going to go to Arizona in support of it if it hasn’t passed by then.  I was told that the primary topics of the meeting were the Arizona eligibility bill and Obama’s eligibility.

There was no follow-up meeting scheduled.  When they came out of the meeting, Rep. Carl Seel spoke to the press.  As they were leaving, Theresa Cao said something to Jeff, who was trying to figure out who she was.  He asked her, "Are you Theresa Cao?" and she said, "Yes, I am."  And she went to lunch with him.

The Post & Email:  Did you say that Arizona Governor Jan Brewer was invited but was unable to go?

Citizen Reporter:  That was based on an earlier conversation, but I didn’t reconfirm that.  We were informed and believe that Gov. Brewer was unable to attend.

The Post & Email:  If the meeting began at 11:30 and ended around noon, what were they doing between then and now?  Were they talking to the gaggle of reporters outside?

Citizen Reporter:  Only Rep. Seel spoke with them; that was the agreement that the other two were not to answer questions.  He made a brief statement to the press and reassured Jeff and Kelly, saying that he had "said some good stuff."  As Jeff said, though, who knows what gets reported by the press these days?  Then they went to lunch.

I followed up with a phone call and left a voice message which Jeff got, and when he called me, he said, "We’ve been out of here for over an hour and went to lunch."

I’ll have more information tonight.  Jeff said that Trump was engaged, asked questions and asked people to get information for him.  He clearly showed that he wants to know more.  If there was an issue with which he was unfamiliar, he definitely asked for people to get information back to him.  Jeff characterized it that he was receiving a homework assignment from Trump.  Kind-of as if they were "The Apprentices" there.

There's an update to this item -- cursor down here . . .
Trump Is Now Turning To The Real Issue
Zach Jones says Trump has been right in bringing up Obama’s eligibility/natural born citizen issue -- the "Birther" issue.  No other public figure has the clout or the guts to tackle it.  No other politician or ethical reporter will cover this issue in any depth because the Political Correctness (PC) police have been out in full force intimidating all who might dare to raise any questions.  They’ve been very successful too.  That’s why "Birther" is the name everyone associates with it; and why most associate the meaning the name implies -- not born in Hawaii.  No independent thought necessary!  However, it is an issue that needs to be addressed, if for no other reason that we have military men and women fighting around the world at Obama’s beck and call.

And the high stakes game, it appears will have a few more hands to play.

The issue with Obama’s eligibility (regardless of what the media is trying to lead you to believe) not only involves the place of his birth but also his conflicted allegiances vis-à-vis the citizenship of his alleged father.

[...snip...]

Did you see that Trump had a meeting with a group that included a Rep. from Arizona and gave out some homework?  In that meeting, Mr. Trump asked for information regarding the term "natural born citizen".  Only the Donald can assign research as homework and not have to pay for it.  Once Donald Trump receives the information asked for, he will then be in a position to force the main street media's hand; and call them on their decision to cut the public out of considering the Obama eligibility issue in any meaningful, thoughtful way.

Simply labeling everyone asking questions "Birthers" is neither meaningful nor thoughtful.

Keep in mind that, Trump also has his mother's naturalized citizenship status as a possible springboard should he decide to file a suit for a Declaratory Judgment indicating he (Trump) is eligible.  That’s an ace in the hole that only Trump has!

During Trump's meeting with the delegation from Arizona, he was introduced to the "natural born" issue for the first time, and asked for more information.  Once he focuses on the constitutional issue, he could be very, very threatening to Team Obama.

Through reliable intermediaries, The Obama File has the URLs (links) to the following three pages being hand-carried to Trump:  Four Cases, Natural Born, and COLB.
Donald Trump Scores An Important Victory Over The Media
Seth Forman says Trump has achieved something important.  His decision to focus like a laser on Obama's failure to produce a birth certificate has highlighted the absolute corruption of the American media on the subject of Obama, and the dangers of power granted in the absence of an unaligned press.

Given that Obama's primary claim to the presidency has been his compelling life story -- his biracialism, his international upbringing, especially the time he spent in Muslim lands -- the media has shown shockingly little interest in several pieces of information about Obama's life which might legitimately concern voters.  Nowhere in his biographies, for example, does Obama mention his 1981 trip to Pakistan, where he stayed with influential political leaders from that country at a time when a State Department advisory warned U.S. citizens against travel to Pakistan.  There has also been a strange disinterest in Obama's 2006 trip to Kenya where, as a sitting U.S. senator, Obama criticized the incumbent government (a U.S. ally) and barnstormed with a Marxist candidate he supported.  So too, there has been nary a peep among media elites over Obama's funding of the radical "education" work of bomb thrower Bill Ayers, or his own work on behalf of the activist group ACORN, the now defunct largest purveyor of voter registration fraud in American history (and, apparently, an enabler of under aged prostitution.).

One of the functions of the media is to protect the public from fraudulent statements made by public figures.  The unwillingness of the media to fulfill this role in the case of Obama has led to significant, and probably needless, public tension.  Obama's resistance to releasing the long version of his birth certificate, has served not only to raise legitimate speculation about the circumstances surrounding his birth, but to give fodder to Obama critics.

Gail Collins, the New York Times' most reliably uninteresting liberal attack dog, questioned Trump's sanity just for raising the birth certificate issue.  But would she say the same about famed black Vanderbilt University Law Professor and Obama supporter Carol Swain?  Swain has said "I think that by not releasing it [the full birth certificate], it makes people much more passionately opposed to the president.  Moreover, for a president who was elected on the basis of his personal background, it is troubling that Obama himself would want to withhold such basic information."

The media's curiosity about the background of those running for national office seemed to know no bounds when it came to George W. Bush's service in the Texas Air National Guard or the sexual behavior of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin's daughter.  But during and since the 2008 campaign a virtual wall of silence has been constructed around Obama.

This has important implications for the country.  Questions about Obama's family and his relationship to Islam, for example, and hence his world view, remain subjects of speculation.  Former CIA officer Larry Johnson, for example, believes that the full birth record from the State of Hawaii was probably amended in 1968 [it was amended in 1996] to show Obama was adopted by his step father, the Indonesian Muslim Lolo Soetoro, that he became formally known for a time as "Barry Soetoro," and may even have his religion listed as Muslim.  This would completely change what Obama has said about his past and represent a public fraud of a very significant magnitude.

At the very least the full record might help explain Obama's strange discomfort with exercising American power against radical Muslim regimes in Libya and elsewhere, where he has farmed out the defense of American interests to the United Nations, and his insistence on "dialogue" with rogue Muslim regimes in Syria and Iran.  All of this while touting the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and Al Qaeda associated Muslim opposition groups in Libya as democracy craving freedom fighters.

Some of the missing details of Obama's life are doubtlessly trivial.  Obama probably has benign explanations for not providing more information about them.  Even Trump admits that the evidence strongly suggests Obama was born in Hawaii and is an American citizen.  But that Obama has not yet released this information, and that the media refuses to criticize him for not doing so, is a testament not to the questionong of "Birthers," but to Obama's penchant for secrecy, and the dangerous amount of latitude the media has been willing to cede him.
Trump Beating Entire GOP Field By 9 Points
Jon Terbush is reporting that a new PPP poll released on Friday shows Donald Trump leading the Republican presidential primary race by much more than a hair.

In fact, the poll shows the brash real estate tycoon turned reality TV show host posting a large nine-point lead on the nearest competition.  It's the latest in a flurry of recent surveys to show The Donald running strong in the GOP field, but it's the first to show him all alone at the front of the pack.

Trump garnered 26% of the vote, followed by Mike Huckabee (17%), Mitt Romney (15%), Newt Gingrich (11%), and Sarah Palin (8%.)  Ron Paul earned 5%, while Michele Bachmann and Tim Pawlenty took 4% each.

But despite Trump's sudden sprint to the front of the field, his wide lead isn't necessarily a sign of his strength so much as a sign of the weakness of the overall GOP field at this point.

As TPM noted earlier this week, only a handful of Republican candidates have strong name recognition, while others -- notably Pawlenty, who is one of the few potential candidates to have already announced a presidential exploratory committee -- are virtually unknown.

As for those well-known candidates, Republican voters aren't exactly thrilled about them.  In a recent CNN poll, 53% of Republicans said Palin should run for president, but nearly as many, 47%, said she should stay out of the race.  And in a PPP poll last month, only 51% of Republicans viewed Romney favorably, while 50% had a favorable opinion of Gingrich.

That left a huge gap for a candidate with high name recognition, which Trump certainly has, to swoop in and peel support away from other contenders.

Also likely playing into Trump's rise -- his rapid cornering of the Birther market.  Through expressing intense, persistent skepticism about Obama's citizenship -- with cable news apparently happy to come along for the ride -- Trump's been able to quickly grab hold of that sizable part of the GOP base still committed to theories long since dismissed as conspiracy.

Gets tiresome, doesn't it?  "Theories long since dismissed as conspiracy."  Dismissed by who?  Barack Obama?  CNN's John King?

The PPP poll found a sizable Birther base within the party, as 23% of respondents said they'd be "unwilling" to vote for any candidate who says Obama was born in the U.S.  Additionally, only 38% said they would be willing to vote for such a candidate, while 39% were unsure.

There's a long way to go before the first primary contest next year, and as more candidates enter the race and as such raise their profiles, the standings are sure to change.

But even at this early stage, a poll that shows such dominance by a figure whose flirtation with the presidency may be little more than mega-publicity stunt will make for uncomfortable reading for those casting themselves as more serious candidates -- who, for now, find themselves staring up...at Trump.

The PPP poll was conducted April 7-10 among 400 Republican voters nationwide.

Trump Says Obama "Lives In The World Of Make-Believe"
Kevin Dolak says that fresh off the news of a new poll showing him leading the pack of Republicans lining up to take on Obama in 2012, Donald Trump reiterated his "Birther" claims today at a Tea Party rally in Boca Raton, Fla., and blamed George W. Bush for Obama being in office.

"[Obama] lives in the world of the make-believe, and even the fact that he became president is the world of the make believe," Trump said before an audience of hundreds during his keynote speech.

"George W. Bush gave us Obama, and I'm not happy about it.  We have a man right now that will almost certainly go down as the worst Pres in the history of the U.S.," he said.

During his speech, Trump criticized Obama on major issues including the ongoing deficit struggle, the economy and the U.S. role in the conflict in Libya and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, saying, "We can't afford education, we can't afford to build a road, and now we're in Iraq, Afghan, and now Libya," he said.  "What we're doing over there is ridiculous."

On the subject of Iraq, the real estate tycoon and host of "The Apprentice" posited that once the U.S. military completely leaves the country, it will be taken over by Iran "within minutes."

Trump also made clear his stance on a number of hot-button issues, including his pro-life and anti-gun control stances.

While repeatedly referring to the "terrible" state of the economy, Trump indicated that if he were to win the presidency, "China and OPEC and all of the many nations ripping off this country of ours ... will be a pleasure to deal with."

Still Trump has not quite put his cards on the table in terms of a 2012 bid, but made it clear that he feels if he wins, he will be a wild success.  "If I decide to run, if I win, I will not be raising taxes, but will be taking in billions of dollars from other countries and will be creating vast numbers of productive jobs, and will rebuild our country," he said.  "The U.S. will be great again.

In a Public Policy Polling National Republican Presidential Poll surveying 400 Republican primary voters, Trump came in at 26 percent, leading 2008 GOP hopefuls Mike Huckabee, who came in at 17 percent, and Mitt Romney, at 15 percent.

Hawaii Governor Neil Abercrombie Is A Lying Sack Of Excrement
The following is extracted from a report from Hawaii News Now that comments on an interview of Donald Trump by Michael Isakoff.  I skipped the part where "reporter" Brooks Baehr repeats all the same old nonsense about what Fukino said, and the birth announcements and that bogus electronic image on the Internet that's supposed to be Obama's "birth certificate."  What I wanted to get to is the incredible lies coming out of the mouth of Neil Abercrombie (pictured below).

"If he has a birth certificate he should release it," Trump, exuding confidence, told NBC News.

When Isakoff asked Trump if he thinks officials in Hawaii are lying about the birth certificate, Trump answered, "The governor of Hawaii said he was there when he was born.  Now do you really believe that the governor of Hawaii was there when he was born?  I don't."

Hawaii News Now caught up to Governor Neil Abercrombie and asked him to clarify what he meant when he said he was "there."

"Of course here in Hawaii," Abercrombie said.

"Not in the room?" we asked.

"Let's be serious.  It is simply reprehensible to have this kind of conversation.  Insulting someone's mother and father speaks about the person who is doing it," Abercrombie demagogued.

Now, I ask you, does this look like a reliable source to you?  I have repeatedly described this POS as Obama's "life beard."  He is the only person on the planet who has ever claimed to see Barak Obama (note spelling) and Stanley Ann Dunham together -- the only one.

The very hip stoner, Neil Abercrombie

As for Obama's roots in Hawaii, Abercrombie, who couldn't find Obama's birth certificate with a search warrant, told Hawaii News Now, he first laid eyes on baby Barack Obama a few days after he was born.

A metaphysical impossibility -- a few days after he was born, baby Barack Obama was in Seattle, WA, 2,800 miles away.

Abercrombie said Obama's parents introduced their newborn to friends at the University of Hawaii where Abercrombie was going to college with the alleged president's alleged father.

A bold-faced lie mixed in with a little propaganda.  Even Abercrombie's brother had no memory of the "couple."

Members of the snack bar crowd don't remember the Obama-Dunham relationship.  In this report, Hal Abercrombie said he never saw them together.  Pake Zane could not recall Ann from those days but had precise memories of Senior.

"We not only saw him and were with them, but were introduced to him of course at our gatherings, our student gatherings,  Abercrombie added.

Not according to your brother, Meathead, and for the reason stated above -- Barak was in Honolulu (until June, 1962) -- Stanley Ann and baby Barack Obama were in Seattle, WA, 2,800 miles away.
Donald Trump Breaks Through The ObamaMedia's Iron Curtain
Fred Dardick says billionaire Donald Trump may be a publicity junkie and questionable presidential material.  Athough who am I to say, just look at what we got right now -- but he makes for one awesome Obama attack dog.  With the self assurance that only money, power and celebrity can buy, Trump has been knocking down the walls the main stream media have erected around Obama to expose parts of his background that liberals would prefer never see the light of day.

Trump has raised the issue regarding Obama’s birth certificate from conspiracy theory to legitimate topic of conversation.  Finally someone has destroyed the false ObamaMedia narrative that a "Certification of Live Birth" and a birth certificate are the same thing (they're not).

Last week Trump raised the stakes by attacking Obama over his real estate dealings with convicted Chicago slumlord Tony Rezko.  While ObamaMedia reporters have been happily reporting Trump's eligibility issue, something they believe most Americans will just laugh away, they have not spent anywhere near the same energy publicizing Obama’s connections to Rezko, a story that could really hurt Obama should it become common knowledge.

There is no chuckling away Rezko’s purchase of the lot next to Obama’s Chicago home and the subsequent sale of a strip of land to Obama that "conferred a benefit by helping Obama obtain something he couldn’t otherwise afford."  In other words it was a payoff from a Chicago power player to an up and coming politician for services yet to be rendered.  Already the ObamaMedia are circling the wagons on this story.

This past week CBS carried water for Obama once again by refusing to release the complete "hot mic" recording of his meeting with Democratic donors.  It would seem CBS doesn’t want audio of Obama referring to a group of Americans as "slugs," making it to the airwaves.  One can only imagine how quickly it would have been released had the president been named Bush.

Trump has shown that direct confrontation with Obama is the best way forward in 2012.  Trump is only down 2 points to Obama in the latest Newsweek/Daily Beast poll.  No longer can Republican candidates pull a John McCain and sit calmly on the sidelines while the progressive-controlled media decides which Obama stories are newsworthy and which are not.  The more Republicans expose of Obama’s shady past and unethical presidency to the American people, the better chance we have of putting Obama behind us.

This is not an endorsement of Trump, but the writer is correct.  Republican hopefuls need to go at Obama tooth and nail, and forget the pussy-footin' around.

Candidates shouldn't be civil with an opponent who has a well documented history of "doing what it takes" to win elections.
Obama Was A "Terrible Student" Not Good Enough For Harvard
Beth Fouhy is reporting that Manhattan real estate mogul Donald Trump suggested in an interview Monday that Barack Obama had been a poor student who did not deserve to be admitted to the Ivy League universities he attended.  Trump, who is mulling a bid for the Republican presidential nomination, offered no proof for his claim but said he would continue to press the matter as he has the legitimacy of Obama's birth certificate.

"I heard he was a terrible student, terrible. How does a bad student go to Columbia and then to Harvard?  I'm thinking about it.  I'm certainly looking into it.  Let him show his records."

Obama graduated from Columbia University in New York in 1983 with a degree in political science after transferring from Occidental College in California.  He went on to Harvard Law School, where he graduated magna cum laude 1991, and was the first black president of the Harvard Law Review.

Obama's 2008 campaign did not release his college transcripts, and in his best-selling memoir, "Dreams From My Father," Obama indicated he hadn't always been an academic star.  Trump told the AP that Obama's refusal to release his college grades were part of a pattern of concealing information about himself.

"I have friends who have smart sons with great marks, great boards, great everything and they can't get into Harvard.  We don't know a thing about this guy.  There are a lot of questions that are unanswered about our president."

Katie Hogan, a spokeswoman for Obama's re-election campaign, declined to comment.

Trump, a wealthy businessman and reality TV host on NBC, has risen to the top of many polls in part by his outspoken call for Obama to release his long form birth certificate.

The state of Hawaii has released a certificate of live birth indicating Obama was born there on August 4, 1961, but that has not quelled critics who believe Obama was born outside the United States and is therefore not qualified to be president.

The so-called "Birther" controversy has dominated the early stage of the 2012 GOP nominating contest, with Trump leading the charge.

"I have more people that are excited about the fact that I reinvigorated this whole issue.  The last guy (Obama) wants to run against is Donald Trump."

Trump is scheduled to travel to the early primary states of New Hampshire and Nevada this week and said he will make a final decision about a presidential bid by June.

These statements are rumors, not documented fact -- Obama graduated from Columbia University -- he graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School.  There is no documented evidence to support these two claims.

Flagrant lies -- The state of Hawaii has released a certificate of live birth -- the State of Hawaii has never confirmed that the digital image on the Internet came from Hawaii -- and it is not a "Certificate of Live Birth," which is the long-form birth certificate, but a "Certification of Live Birth," a document that only certifies the fact of a birth, rather than the facts of a birth.

And, it is critically important to understand that the document copied to the Internet, purported to be Obama's birth certificate,  has only physically been seen by members of the Obama campaign, and two unqualified, partisan examiners.  No independent forensic document examiners have ever had access to the source document.  No "journalist" has ever had access to the source document.
